"The Nyton is an older property, and has all the problems that come with that. Our host was very amenable, and the food was A1. Our room was big enough and the bed was very comfortable. The garden is large and there are several animal visitors to watch for. Fine for a stopover or short stay. "

"Earl of Derby is very well located in Cambridge. Walking distance to town and train station. The rooms are very nice, comfortable, clean and quiet. Great being attached to pub for drinks and food. Hospitality is good and not intrusive. Staff are very helpful!! Just ask. "

"Kevin was the perfect host very friendly and helpful - the breakfast was amazing for 5 pounds - public car park opposite secure and convenient - the bathroom was basic but acceptable for my needs - the room was well furnished had a fridge and microwave and perfectly clean - overall a very good value property I would stay again 👍"

"Great location in the village. 1 small block away from fantastic pub with attached restaurant and outdoor seating with parking for both. One block from river. Another block added from the pub gets you to the convenience/grocery store. Another block along the river gets you to the manor house and gardens. Lovely room at the lodge, nice breakfast delivered in the mornings. Great staff, internet in the room. Parking lot within grounds. Local taxis available. Bolt available to the property...

"Contractors staying fir a few bughts for ibgoing works in the area. Has all the facikities tou beed with many room options available Easy check in and out"

"Check in and check out were no problems. Followed the instructions that were sent to email on the day of registration. Location - the center is 10 minutes walk away, paid parking is 3 minutes away 20 pounds per day, free on Sunday. Communication - I used email, the answer was immediate. Of the minuses, do not forget to make a deposit (it is clear why)."

"Doesn’t look great from the outside but fine inside as long as you’re not in one of the “upper floor” rooms of this dormer bungalow type house. Low sloped ceilings. Not ideal for a tall person. Facilities very good, plenty of equipment in the kitchen and a nice sun room were you can eat your meals."

"This was basic accommodations with friendly service. The property is dated rough around the edges, but was very competitively priced. It was a pleasant walk to downtown. We would probably stay again but can’t give it high marks aside from value and location. "

"Comfortable cabins, and a fantastic home cooked breakfast. Yes, the drive is a bit potholed, but the welcome is second to none. I had a home cooked evening meal, which the host will provide for a reasonable cost. It is lovely to be out in the countryside - and I felt totally at home. Unfortunately I experienced a flat tire whilst there (a really old tire went pop) and the host was so kind - he sorted me out with a replacement tyre to keep me on the road for my meetings. "This is a lovely Aparthotel in a great location in Cambridge. Only downside is the noise from the road. I advise guests to bring earplugs or even better, supplied by the hotel. Some noise also from banging doors in the corridor. A coffeemaker is provided in the room, but only with 2 capsules and no fresh milk available."

"Lovely property right next to Cambridge North train station. Dog friendly too! My dog receives a welcome pack with toys. The hotel is clean and also accessible to the bus stop serving Cambridge city centre. There is also a Coop across the street."

Bedford Hotel and Spa Hotel

"First time visiting here, reception was a joy, very helpful and informative. The room was very good with comfortable large bed, bathroom had Moulton Brown products, amazing. The bar had a lovely well serviced log fire. We dinned in the restaurant the first night with the intention of dining out the following night. As Newmarket has some very good restaurants. But the meal was so good we dinned at the restaurant the next night also.Breakfast was also very good with plenty of choice. The pool, sauna and steam room, topped off a wonderful stay. The place was very well kept and the staff made it an enjoyable stay. We will definitely stay again "

"The staff are really friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with an amazing selection of food. Hotel is in a very convenient location and we do enjoy our stays there."
