Hiker's Haven - a tiny home for big adventures

Located just minutes from Mentone, Hiker's Haven is the perfect place to escape. Designed with your comfort, style, and the environment in mind, Hiker's Haven will be a destination you will want to return to, again and again!

Become one with nature while you escape the stresses of your busy life. Hiker's Haven is within minutes of DeSoto State Park hiking trails, has its own private fire pit with four Adirondack chairs, and parking right out front.

This spacious tiny home has everything you need, including kitchen with full size stove, refrigerator and duo coffee maker, washer/dryer, TV, wifi, and air conditioning. Relax in the den while you play games, or snuggle up by the electric fireplace with your favorite book. If you prefer, you can lounge on the spacious covered front porch with sectional seating, or sit by the fire pit while enjoying s’more.

When your day is done, slumber in comfort in luxurious bedding. A queen sized bed is on main level and two twins are located up in the loft. The full bath comes stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and towels for your visit.

Solitude Retreat
I stayed here for a solitude retreat and it was everything I needed. The cabin is well decorated and homey. The Ninja coffee maker was also top notch! The pillows are super plush and cozy and the cabin is stocked with most things you may need. It’s easy to find and the outdoor area is adorable! Love that the outdoor lights come on automatically!

Perfect Location! Everything You Need!
We absolutely loved staying at Hiker's Haven! The tiny home was perfect for our family of four, plus one dog. The house had everything we needed and more. I especially loved the Ninja coffee maker with cute coffee mugs and the cozy fireplace. My husband enjoyed the firepit area where we made s'mores. The girls really loved the loft area that was surprisingly spacious! The location was perfect... Within minutes to great hikes, waterfalls, and the cute town of Mentone. We will definitely be back!

Loved Hiker’s Haven!
I have a great love of tiny homes but this was my first stay in one. It didn’t disappoint at all! I didn’t really want to get out and do a lot of activities because of the allure of the cute little home. This has helped my husband and I set our goal definitely for a piece of land there in Mentone and purchasing our own tiny home. We even went and looked while we were there. Thank you for renting us such an adorable little place. I do want to add that it was very clean and stocked with the basics of what we needed. I loved the shampoo/soap bottles. Very convenient! We were overall very impressed and will recommend to others! 5 stars!

Wonderful laid back few days in Mentone
My hubby and I - and our two fur babies - had a wonderful time relaxing at Hiker’s Haven in Mentone recently! Perfect setting - perfect cabin - perfect few days. The cabin was in a beautiful location we felt totally secluded even though Mentone was only 2 minutes away. Holly with Delightful Retreats was wonderful - all questions answered quickly - getting in the cabin and checking out could not have been easier. Beautiful place - beautiful setting - beautiful people.

THE BEST GETAWAY
This place is the cutest little tiny home! This is the perfect getaway to disconnect and be with nature. The place is clean and well-kept up. You are provided with everything you need. Perfect for solo, couples, or family trips. I saw so many movies that I hadn't seen before and I had a blast staying here. Between making cookies and enjoying nature I had a blast and would so book again. If you are hesitant about this place don't be as you will have a blast and the decor is the cutest thing ever! Things to do around there: -The Alabama museum for the music group is only 25 minutes away and $10 per person in Fort Payne. -Maters is in the same town and is pasta and pizza and I would recommend eating there! -5 mins from the cabin there is a Alice and Wonderland-themed cafe that you can eat at for lunch or breakfast. I LOVED that place. -Mentoe Market is a great place to get pizza and such a cute little store.
