Charming, Relaxing, and did I mention Location?! Originally built in 1940, with the heart-pine walls, floors & ceilings still intact. Quaint "wavy board"/live edge timber exterior from local sawmill. 2BR/1BA. Fully furnished including those inviting rockers on the perfect front porch (with cedar railings by local artisan Jeff Rymer). 2-car carport. Property plumbing and wiring updated during a remodel in 2004. Great yard including what is perhaps the prettiest native holly tree in Mentone!

What makes this place so great is how easy it is to walk next door to the market if I need anything. I also love that I can walk to and from dinner if I choose.

There are multiple options for coffee in the mornings. There is a coffee maker for traditional coffee grounds (medium or coarse) and also a Keurig option for K-Cups. Coffee grounds and K-Cups are not always provided so we recommend bringing your own.

The carport is equipped with a Tesla High Power Wall Connector for Tesla Electric Vehicles.

Amazing setting for a get away! Mentone is a quiet, quaint town to wind down in. Cabin was so so comfortable, everything we needed, and was next door to the market! Would highly recommend this property and plan to be back!

Wonderful Getaway
This was an incredible cabin for a family. Lots of room to move around without feeling squeezed in and even fun board games to do on rainy days. It’s close to everything and such beautiful surroundings. We even watched deer cross the road while sitting on the front porch. Loved how close the trails and river were to our cabin. It was one of our favorite trips to Mentone.

Beautiful Cabin is a Work of Art
The location of this cabin worked out perfectly for us as we were able to walk next door to the market and across the street to our favorite shops and restaurants. Communication was easy and the cabin was clean and absolutely gorgeous. Great use of technology for convenience in a place where you generally lack cellular service. 10/10 would book again!

Perfect getaway!
Beautiful cabin! Very clean and well stocked! Easy access to parks and loved the sidewalks for am strolls. Only negative....not one restaurant was open. We had no problem doing our breakfast and lunch in the cabin. Wanted to go out for dinners, but we found great places in Fort Payne where we got takeout. The drive there was easy!

Heart of Mentone
Clean, well-equipped and a great location. Right next door to the Mentone Market (don't miss Taco Tuesday) and down the street from excellent food at the Wildflower Cafe and the Green Leaf Grill. This is the main road through Mentone and it can be quite busy at times but it did not bother us. Thanks for letting us stay!
