Good value for the price
The apt. is located a 15-minute walk from the city center and about 10 minute walk from Mendoza's great big park -- which also made it the most quiet place we stayed at in Argentina. Even though on a somewhat busy street, the apt. is set waaay off the street with lots of security and privacy. Super quiet, which I value very highly. Place is good for the value in terms of size and fully equipped for comfort, although a bit run-down and a couple of things (auto heater upstairs and downstairs, drying, not working properly but there were alternatives); that is, not a luxurious place but very comfortable for a few days' stay. Owner and assistant were incredibly helpful; met us at airport; were on call 24 hours a day; and owner even gave us a ride one night to restaurant when we went the wrong way and couldn't get a cab (as well as called restaurant to change reservation). Right next door is a fantastic bakery; a few nice restaurants and fruit, convenience stores also on nearby blocks. Overall, great owner, great location if you don't mind walking a bit (or cabbing or trolley car), very very quiet, good value for the price.

Cozy townhouse
The townhouse was perfect for our four night stay in Mendoza. On checking in Atilio took special care in ensuring we had all the info on the area and recommendations for the best restaurants. He also arranged a fantastic day of wine tasting. highly recommended.

Perfect place to stay!!
When my wife, son, and daughter in law arrived we first noticed how great the outside courtyard was! Once inside we loved the two bedrooms and glad to have the extra 1/2 bath with four of us. The washing machine and dryer was a great though we hung our clothes from the upstairs balcony. The house was a good size and had everything we needed. Perhaps best of all was its central location in Mendoza! We just "followed the train tracks" (no noisy trains!) to get downtown. It was an easy walk to all the great restaurants, shops, and Mendoza's fun side. We rented a car for one day to experience the wineries - Zuccardi was a favorite where we also had lunch. AMP Cava was also a quaint winery stop where we visited with the owner. I highly recommend this VRBO to other travelers!
