"The house was in a very pleasant rural village on the edge of some very fine walking country above Mende. The accommodation was well equipped and fine for us two, but may be a little cramped downstairs for four. The owner appeared every day to feed his animals but was in no way obtrusive. There was an enclosed area outside for eating protected from any wind and sun. Mende is a very pleasant and interesting town with easy parking and all necessary facilities. The country side around varied...

"This was a 1900 hotel with heaps of character. It had on-site parking, a restaurant which was full the first night so had to go elsewhere and very limited options. Was a basic room with a hand held shower over the bath. Enjoyed our short stay in the Parc setting allowing us to enjoy the surrounding area."

"This old stone house is built up against a cliff in the Tarn River Gorge, a place of exceptional beauty. We stayed in early spring and enjoyed the fresh greenery, bird songs and the occasional fox sighting. It's very secluded yet convenient to town and exploring the area. The house has a well equipped kitchen, good lighting, a comfy sofa for evenings and a very good bed. The porch offers a fine view of the river and canyon and is great for eating out. Clare and Alex have worked hard to make this a five-star experience, and we appreciate their hospitality."
