"Let me start by saying that the description of this property on Stayz does not do it justice. It is simply amazing. The host, Dave, is pleasant, chatty knowledgeable about the local area and extremely helpful. Everything that you could want in a getaway apartment is thought of here. The decor is stunning, there is a log fire look gas heater and AC, fast WiFi, spa, linen bedsheets, dressing gowns and a lovely breakfast is provided daily. The view from the bedroom balcony is superb, and Fairhaven is located near so many destinations on the Great Ocean Road. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, it was quiet except for the sound of the ocean, and we couldn't have wished for a better experience. Thanks to Dave and Anne for an awesome break!"

"Quiet location close within walking distance to surf beaches, places of interest and other amenities. Wendy has provided a very clean modern Studio unit. The exterior surrounds are well maintained too which all made our stay very enjoyable and relaxing. "

"The ocean view was outstanding, access to an adjoining residences deck provide 180degree views. The property itself was filthy, the crockery and glassware was putrid-I resorted to buying my own to refrain from having to use it, the couch was so putrid I couldn’t sit on it, bedding was stained and the buttons on the bottom were missing which meant the doona fell out, the floors were visibly dirty, left over cardimone spice in the pantry resulted in the entire cottage stinking like Indian spice despite having all doors/windows open, cobwebs and filthy windows. When advising the company was provided with excuses, told the dishes were washed in the non existent dishwasher and made to feel like I was incorrect and inaccurate in my experience and photo evidence! Was not given stay 3, pay 2 deal as advertised. Definitely not worth $550-600 a night "

"Team was easy to contact. Key collection was ok. Would have been better if the keys were at the property. We arrived at the property and were amazed. We walked into the house and loved the view immediately. As it was a long drive. We decided to get a drink. Went to grab a glass to noticed they were dirty. Glasses were also sitting on this concrete floor. Very strange and unsanitary. Above the glasses were the coffee cups and they were also dirty. I started inspecting the place and it did not have a good first impression. The diswasher was full. Some glasses had water in them and dishes were dirty. Same goes for the cutlery and plates in the cupboard. Spider webs everywhere. The couch was big and looked so comfy. It would have been much better if it was not dirty. The throw also was dirty and old. It even had a big hole through it. The other ones in the basket were also dirty. For the price, this property should have been cleaned prior to guest arrival. So i started my supposed to be "relaxed" long weekend by cleaning dishes, wiping down surfaces and removing spider webs. The next morning, i washed 2 of the throws so we could use them. The placed looked like people lived there. Presentation not the best for such a beautiful place. Guests would book places like this to leave their home and relax. No one wants to go away and start their trip by cleaning someone else's place when they paid pretty decent money to stay there. Please clean. Overall, ok"
