"Nixson and his mother are lovely. He took time to make sure I was comfortable, and kindly shared his knowledge of the plants in his garden with me Fridge, hot shower, comfy bed, nearby shops, atm, restaurants Some mozzies but there are nets so I slept great I went to Batibou beach nearby, about a 1hr walk, or 10 min drive. My jaw was on the floor 😍 I enjoyed my stay. Thank you"

"I absolutely recommend anyone visiting Dominica to stay here. I had an amazing stay thanks to the staff and the beautiful nature all around. Very comfortable and relaxing. I travel a lot and always stay in hotel, but this is a place of serenity. Highly recommend to stay here for a different experience from your typical hotel. You really get to take in the island and all its beauty."

"We stayed with Kevin twice during our 2-week trip to Dominica. Kevin's place is clean and comfortable, and he's a great cook! Kevin also organizes tours of the Kalinago territory, and I would greatly recommend it! We got to meet local people who showed us and invited us to participate in various aspects of Kalinago culture. I had looked for an experience like this online but couldn't find one. In addition, we had several great discussions about Dominican history, politics, and Kalinago culture. This allowed for a much deeper and broader experience than we could get from a 2-hour tour. Kevin's place is also 5 minutes from the Kalinago Barana Aute. I can't recommend Kevin and his place enough! If and when we visit again, we'll definitely stay here."

"The property was well kept and had everything we needed and then some. Carol Anne has thought of everything to make a guest stay pleasant, convenient and comfortable. The garden and gazebo are beautifully kept and manicured. Perfect for a scrumptious breakfast setting, which we received !! A healthy vegetarian breakfast with fresh local produce. Fresh bread, juices, tea and jam. The property is easy to find with brightly painted sign posts along the road. To go with Carol Ann and Nick’s welcome. We shall be returning !!"

"Blue Whale Villa was a great place to stay, our only downsides were that it is a bit far from things on the island, but we were alright with the drive and happy with the place. There was also just a very lightly stocked kitchen, and a few more bowls, or cooking utensils would be nice. Otherwise the stay was great! We stayed here for two weeks and never had complaints about the whole island! I would recommend renting a car if you have multiple days here and want to go to the stuff to the south, as I’m sure a taxi will cost a bit. We had plenty to do on the north end of the island for about 3 days and also spent a couple days just relaxing at the house and it was perfect for that. It felt very safe and the view was spectacular especially if you are willing to wake up around 5:30 for the sunrise!"

"Our experience at the Pagua Bay House was great! The grounds, cabana, restaurant, and view of the bay were amazing. We ate most of our meals on-site at the bar and grill. As others have mentioned, we really appreciated the help from Sheldon and Alicia in setting up activities and providing suggestions to explore the island! We would definitely recommend staying at Pagua Bay House on a trip to Dominica."

"This spacious place, with three ample bedrooms, was stocked to the max with amenities, down to a well provisioned Keurig coffee with all the canisters, soaps and shampoos, kids' books and games, first aid kit, laundry room, internet, hot shower systems, canned goods, condiments - all for (responsible) guest use - but best of all were the unbeatable view overlooking Hodges Bay and the fresh sea wind (the place can also be sealed and air conditioned if desired). Very conveniently located next to Calibishie (food stores, ATM, gas station, eateries), between the attractions of Portsmouth and the northwest and the airport and Pagua Bay in the other direction. Manager Kelvin is very warm and welcoming and communication with hosts Roger and Kathleen is prompt and effective. Great base to explore the north, or just hang out and relax on the luxury balconies."
