If a beach day takes your fancy, choose from Brancaster, Holkham, Wells-next-the-Sea, Sheringham, Cromer and Mundesley, all within easy reach. Alternatively, explore the National Trust’s Felbrigg Hall, 12.5 miles, or Blickling Estate, 8.5 miles, or hop on the Bure Valley Railway at the market town of Aylsham, 10 miles, for a steam along to Wroxham, known as the capital of the Broads, where you can also hire a boat for the day or rent kayaks and paddle boards.
