stay was ok until communication stopped
The property was clean but not accurate as described online. It was listed as the whole property which is 3/2 but on reservation listed as 1/1. So when arriving, it was a concern whether someone else was in the property. I guess they only wanted the master bedroom and bath used and closed the rest of the doors to bedrooms and baths so we did not enter or use those. The location in general suited where we needed to be close to but in order to get to the property there was a very flimsy bridge over a creek that I would not have attempted to cross if I was not in a truck. It was after a large rain and the water level in the creek was up to the small handmade wooden bridge. There was also an camera inside the home which I feel should have been disclosed for privacy reasons. It was in a common area but people do not always get completely dressed when leaving a bedroom to walk to the kitchen etc.
The main complaint I have is that when I noticed my reservation was one day short of what I had searched for and thought I made, I tried to get in touch with the host multiple times over 2 days with no reply. I then contacted VRBO to get host and no reply. I got the host phone number from VRBO to test and call direct and still no reply. It is unacceptable to not be able to expect a reply from a host that knows they have a guest in a timely manner or in my case NOT AT ALL after message online, text, phone call, and an email from VRBO.
