While on the ground floor the common area suited the group well, everyone couple/family had its own room and space upstairs. Aveiro and Porto are an hour away, but you have some very unique tourism opportunities about 10 minutes away in S. João da Madeira with their industry tourism and hat and shoe museum!"

"We stayed for 3 nights. Beautiful old house, view of water below was so lovely. Enjoyed the pool but it was a little late in the year so it was just a little cold for us at our age. We still did get into it twice. Kitchen had all the pots and utensils we needed. We would love to stay here again when in Portugal."
