"It is very functional and it was clean and tidy but there is barley enough room to walk round the bed or turnaround in the bathroom On the plus side the receptionist was lovely and breakfast was good It’s very easy to get to the supermarket where there were places to eat "

"This was our second holiday this year at the mill and we will keep returning. Everything you need for a holiday has been thought of, beautiful mill and extensive gardens. Can highly recommend using the patio at the side of the property for meals, very relaxing with views across the river/land. You have access to use herbs/tomatoes etc from the garden which is such a lovely idea. Easy drive to food shops and literary a short walk to Château de Dampierre-sur-Boutonne which is definitely worth a visit. There is also a small shop that sells local crafts/art/honey which is such a fabulous idea to support the local people. The owner Yohann as always was very welcoming, excellent communication prior and during the stay if you require his assistance. He ensures your time at the mill is as enjoyable as possible. You won’t regret booking this gem of a property. "

"Great location & parking. Rooms are clean spacious and quiet. Wifi good. Breakfast is good, evening food is limited but there are loads of restaurants nearby. The hotel is pricey, but still cheap compared to Parisien or coastal prices. "

"A beautiful villa in a spectacular location. Fabulous stay for families of all ages, a short drive from the lovely town of Niort and coastal paradise of La Rochelle. The facilities were more than pleasing, including the pool (no need to bring floats), a generous games room and expansive garden. The showers always have hot water and filtered taps were a real bonus. The rooms and living areas are spacious and the open plan design is perfect for larger families. Altogether a fabulous resort, equalled only by the hospitality of our hosts."
