"What a fabulous villa! The listing photo’s tell you how gorgeous the view from all the balconies is. The location was perfect: privacy without being remote. The stroll down to the beach was very easy, and we enjoyed drinks at Sunset Restaurant before a sunset swim one evening, and a meal there on another. "We stayed at the villa in August as 2 families. We were very impressed with the style and space, which was more than enough for the 8 of us. It is farmhouse style with quality additions, from the stone-lined pool to the baby grand piano, enormius, rustic wooden islian and kitchen applianceces, we marvelled at them all."

"Another great stay on Paxos. Melpomeni is located right in the middle of the island a short walk from Magazia and Fontana where you have access to some great bars and restaurants. The house itself is a lovely traditional Paxos house, recently renovated with great views to the East, perfect if you are an early riser as you get a full sunrise experience from the terrace. "The hosts were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Anything we asked they were very responsive and helpful with recommendations. The villa was perfect for our vacation as it is 2 separate apartments on top of each other so each family could have its space. The pool setting was great and the views of the sea great. "Really nice convenient hotel. Reception really nice and helpful. Room clean. Room left unlocked by cleaner one day which wasn’t great. Thankfully nothing stolen. The pool bar is seperate to the hotel so you are not allowed your own food and drinks at the pool which wasn’t advertised and quite frustrating. The man at the bar was also quite rude and slammed a sign down next to us saying no food or drink. "

"The Staff where super accommodating and really helpful helping us book excursions and giving us recommendations for food and things to do, we stayed half board and the separate half board menu was perfect for what we needed. Very much enjoyed the fact that the room had a fridge so was really convenient if we wanted to buy food - overall a wonderful place to stay with super lovely staff, with a 10 minute walk to the beach, would recommend and would stay again."
