NO aircon in the whole building and it was a hot humid night. They supplied a pedestal fan that was louder that a light aircraft

Good position in the CBD Unit was ok , you get what you pay Hot /cold water in shower was a mm between boiling and cold. Also was told after check in that AC was not working in building (would be a deal breaker in hot weather)

The hotel called me the night before I arrived to confirm my time of arrival but did not notify me that the AC is not working!!! I had to find out only upon arrival when obviously it was too late. The room is very old and the carpets are extremly dirty and old.

Positives - Very spacious rooms, like an apartment. Very competitive price. Located in CBD, walkable distance to many dining, shopping and transport options. Easy check-in. Great service. Negatives - found two pieces of broken glass under the couch. Washer and Dryer was a great add however they take longer than normal to wash and dry. Cable tv was buffering.

Alberto was Amazingly helpful and friendly - he helped us with our bags and couldn't do enough. Check in and out was seamless and easy and they were very happy to hold and watch our bags on the last day when we had additional meetings to attend after check out. Location is great - close to lots of shops and amenities and walking from place to place was easy!

This stay was a convenient location in the CBD of Melbourne, close to shopping, food and entertainment. Access was easy and checking in and out was simple and quick. Unfortunately it could do with some improved sound proofing around the windows and our toilet had a drip, simple fixes

The 2 Br apartment with 2 bathrooms suited our needs. All rooms were well furnished and had modern appliances. The cleanliness of the rooms, appliances and bathrooms was most welcome. We would recommend this place to our friends.

Aircon on 10th floor wasn’t working - horrible night’s sleep due to hot/stuffy room as well as only a top sheet on mattress (no mattress protector too) so sheet kept slipping mouldy/dirty bathroom. Moved to 7th floor- great aircon but dirty/mouldy bathroom and air vents. Reception staff were great at sorting issues out but disappointed that these issues were there to start with. Certainly made for an interesting stay.

Had stayed here while it was under Ascott's Somerset management, and now under the new management of Urban Apartments. Location wise it is fantastic and very convenient. House-keeping is now on request (which is fine), but the cups in the apartment were cracked / chipped and certainly showing their wear and tear. Please consider better maintenance in the apartments. Nevertheless, the reception staff were helpful, and emailed us when our room was ready, and were always attentive. The complimentary snacks in the apartment were very nice too! Thanks for a lovely stay.

The property was in very bad condition and was filthy. We arrived late in the evening and check-in by getting our key from a lockbox. The instructions were good and the obtaining the key was fine. However, when we got to the room we were shocked by how dirty it was. The plates weren't clean. The bathroom was disgusting. The carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in several months. There was dust and dirt everywhere. Additionally, the shower water fluctuated from burning hot to ice cold continuously. We notified them through the app that night and the next morning went to the front desk to ask for another room. The first thing the person asked was if we took photos of the room. We did and responded as such. He said that we needed to email the photos to him before he can give us a new room. It was strange to us that there was no apology or other question, just asked if we had proof. They provided us with another room, which was cleaner than the first, but still disgusting. The shower was better in that the fluctuations in the temperature were not as great. We didn't receive the "gift of wine" as stated in the listing. Definitely would not stay in this place again and would encourage the health department to shut it down.
