A recently refurbished hotel, everything was clean and modern. The rooms are functional and the bed is very comfortable. Only minor downsides are a very underwhelming lobby, with empty (unfinished?) bar/restaurant area, a lack of complimentary in room water and no body lotion. They are only small things but I’d still return for another stay.

Our room was on a smaller size, but didn’t need more. Hot water in the shower was not great. They need to invest in a better toilet paper. Cutting corners like this takes away from the caliber of this hotel. The location is very good and close to everything. We had a lovely dinner at the French restaurant (Bistro D’Orsay) and caught a musical across the street.

Location is excellent. Property conditions were very good. I would highly recommend staying at the Howey and would stay at the property again when visiting Melbourne. The front desk staff seems to be very busy - so be patient. Also laundry was not on site, they would have to take you to another nearby property to do it - that was a disappointment and I must have missed that when I booked. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Good quality hotel. Parking is a good 10-15 min walk. If you have a reasonable amountvof luggage you may struggle to get a car anywhere near the hotel. I think the hotel should state no parking, car park 10-15 min away

We liked our clean, pleasant room, but having construction work right outside our window which didn’t stop till 10:00pm the night of our stay, then starting at 6:00am the following morning wasn’t ideal. Would have been nice to not be so close to construction side or at least been warned

Lovely new facilities. Rooms are well designed with clever use of space. Beautiful bathrooms, comfy bed, nice and quiet - couldn't hear my neighbours at all. Staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and can't wait to come back!
