The Space:
The Bunjil by Tiny Away is located in the serene countryside of Steels Creek, just a thrilling 10-minute drive from Yarra Valley and a 25-minute drive from Healesville. Perched atop a majestic peak, this charming tiny house offers panoramic views and a sense of serenity amidst a wealth of nearby attractions to explore. Along the way, visitors can stop at wineries to meet winemakers and enjoy tastings, explore gin and whisky distilleries, and discover craft beer breweries. Healesville is full of boutiques and gourmet providers, making it a perfect complement to the serene escape at this tiny house.

Enjoy the privacy of this elevated retreat, offering both seclusion and proximity to local marvels. Embark on spontaneous adventures to discover nearby treasures like Kinglake National Park, Healesville Sanctuary, Alowyn Gardens, Maroondah Reservoir Park, and Warrandyte State Park.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home, situated in one of the best tiny house rentals and serene locations with abundant natural bushland in Steels Creek. It has easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. This includes an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).

Important Note: Our location is high up with a slightly steep road. Guests in all car types navigate it with ease, but older cars with worn tires may face minor challenges.

Please be advised that we have another tiny house named "The Brenbeal" on the property. If you want to book in groups, please contact your land host 24 hrs in advance to make arrangements.

Guest Access:
Guest Access: Guests can access the tiny house and surrounding areas and are welcome to use the walking paths to enjoy the property. Restricted areas are fenced, including our home and the area immediately around it, the orchard, vegetable garden, vineyard, and truffière. Additionally, there are two water tanks that are off-limits. Our location is slightly elevated, with a gently steep road leading up to the property. While all car types can usually navigate it with ease, older vehicles with worn tires might experience minor challenges.

With its breathtaking wineries, attractions, and natural beauty, Yarra Valley is an ideal escape. Just a 25-minute drive from the town of Healesville, you can enjoy gallery visits, leisurely meals at cafes, and browsing boutique shops for fresh local produce.

- At Healesville Sanctuary, experience an Australian wildlife sanctuary in the beautiful Yarra Valley. Encounter iconic animals like koalas, kangaroos, and platypuses and enjoy captivating bird shows and cultural insights.
-Alowyn Garden is spread over approximately seven acres, its symmetrical design is softened by trees and spaces. It features seven distinct areas, including a perennial border, a silver birch forest, and an extensive plant nursery.
-Maroondah Reservoir Park boasts a majestic 41-meter dam wall offering panoramic views of formal gardens and the serene reservoir lake. Explore the gardens and stay for picnics, walks, and cycling adventures amidst scenic landscapes.
- Warrandyte State Park is for nature enthusiasts. Explore Pound Bend for picnics and gentle walks along the Yarra River. Here, adventurers can tackle challenging trails like Mount Lofty Circuit for breathtaking views.

Getting Around:
By Car:

- From Melbourne CBD, it's approximately 1.25 hours (60 km) to Yarra Glen, a 15-minute drive (11 km), then 25 minutes (18 km) to Healesville.
- The property is easily accessible by a 2WD or 4WD vehicle

By Public Transport:

- Take the Lilydale Train from Melbourne CBD to Lilydale, then transfer to a bus to Yarra Glen. From there, walk or cycle to our property.

- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers)
- Mobile reception has good signals for Telstra; The rest has weak signals.
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
