"Whilst the host of this property has the opportunity to create a beautiful space for accommodation in an old style home on an expansive property, there is a number of factors that need to be addressed before this property should be allowed to be relisted on the Stayz website. Whilst there appeared to be some extenuating circumstances with a cleaner's avail-ability, the previous occupants had supposedly been in the accommodation two months. It was clearly going to need more then a few hours to clean it. Linen was not changed in the main bedroom and left with blood and other fluid substances on them. The microwave was full of old food pieces, and the fridge full of food. The property was listed as two bathrooms, one bathroom (ensuite) was not available, supposedly being renovated. This was a problem as we were bringing older people to stay at this accommodation who were not immediate family. There was no hand washing materials in the bathroom and the toilet had no window or drapes and was open to the elements. Meaning that in Sunbury region on a winters night in July it was exceptionally cold. I was required to fashion some type of covering with a scarf and sticky tape to make it a little less cold. Despite the question regarding stairs and access to the property, whilst there are no stairs there are steps down into the toilet area and out the back of the property. There is no fire safety equipment available in the kitchen or near the fire place. Seek another option."

"Very quiet and comfortable property nestled amongst nature, nature walks and wetlands just behind the property was perfect for me to go on my morning walk. We stayed 2 nights, the cinema room was a hit with the kids. Plenty of room and the ducted heating throughout the home we found amazing on the cold mornings. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others."

"We booked this property for our family to stay close by to our wedding venue. We loved the area, gorgeous houses and tree-lined streets. The house is in need of some TLC and attention to detail. The showers had two settings: third-degree burns or hypothermia. I had to shower with a bucket on my wedding morning. The kitchen is nice and big but seriously lacking supplies - a house for 10 really needs bigger cookware. We weren’t provided with hand-towels or bath mats. There were no bins in any of the rooms or bathrooms. The curtain rail in one room was falling off the hooks, there was a broken lamp leaning precariously in another bedroom, the beds were uncomfortable. The house has the potential to be a really wonderful stay but I think some attention to detail is needed before it reaches its full potential."

"We came for my sister’s 60th was a nice house , the only thing is the windows didn’t open and was a very hot weekend, so no breeze thru the house. Very clean would have been good to have another double bed in the the room as we had another couple."
