De afgelegen westkust van Bali is het best bewaarde geheim voor een ontspannen vakantie.
Beachhouse heeft alle luxe en een privé zwembad met jacuzzi. De villa is gelegen op een resort, direct aan een zwart zandstrand in een landelijke omgeving, weg van toeristische attracties.
Het prachtige kilometerslange zandstrand van Sumbersari, het uitzicht op Java en de rustige golven bieden u de perfecte ontsnapping.

Beach House biedt 4 slaapkamers, 4 ensuite badkamers en 2 woonkamers op slechts een steenworp afstand van het strand met uitzicht op Java.

De villa beschikt over een volledig uitgeruste keuken, Wifi, Netflix en andere streamingdiensten, een groot panoramaterras en een ruim zonneterras, allemaal met uitzicht op uw eigen zwembad met jacuzzi aan het strand.

De nachtprijs is inclusief dagelijkse schoonmaakservice, drinkwater, nachtelijke airconditioning, beddengoed en badhanddoeken.

De villa beschikt over een glasvezel internetverbinding van 30 Mbps. Tegen betaling is dit op te waarderen naar 50 of zelfs 100 Mbps.

Indien u de airconditioning ook overdag wilt gebruiken, wordt er een extra toeslag van Rp. 30.000 per airconditioner per dag in rekening gebracht. We hanteren deze toeslag om de kosten voor airconditioning niet aan iedereen door te berekenen.

Onze recent bijgewerkte ontbijt-, lunch- en dinermenu's bieden een verscheidenheid aan smaken en lokale producten. Verse broodjes worden elke ochtend gebakken! U kunt kiezen uit traditioneel Balinese, Aziatische en/of gerechten van over de hele wereld. Ontbijt en lunch kunnen individueel worden besteld, terwijl het diner als groep wordt geserveerd. De gerechten worden bereid in een aparte keuken voor meer privacy. Onze koks hebben kooktraining gevolgd en ervaring opgedaan in restaurants in de hoofdstad. U kunt uw bestellingen aan het einde van uw verblijf afrekenen.

Als u ervoor kiest om zelf te koken, laat dan de keuken schoon achter. U kunt er ook voor kiezen om het schoonmaken door het personeel te laten doen, waarvoor een toeslag van Rp. 50.000 per schoonmaak in rekening wordt gebracht.

Er zijn ook 3 restaurants in de directe omgeving, een cocktailbar aan het strand en lokale kraampjes. Melaya ligt op ongeveer 4 kilometer afstand en biedt Balinese supermarkten, de lokale voedselmarkt en een medische kliniek. Een internationaal ziekenhuis ligt op 15 kilometer rijden.

De koelkast is gevuld met diverse drankjes (tegen betaling) en er is een minibar aanwezig.

De villa ligt op ongeveer 3-4 uur rijden van de internationale luchthaven van Bali. Wij kunnen vervoer regelen vanaf de luchthaven of uw huidige accommodatie. We hebben onze eigen luxe bus met chauffeur voor maximaal 4 gasten. Voor meer dan 4 gasten kunnen we een groter voertuig regelen om voldoende ruimte te garanderen. Tijdens uw verblijf kunt u ook een auto met chauffeur of motorfietsen huren bij de villa. Dit kan tijdens uw verblijf worden geregeld. Voor meer informatie en prijzen kunt u ons een bericht sturen.

Wij helpen u graag bij het plannen van dagtochten naar andere lokale attracties en activiteiten op Bali. Deze omvatten duiken of snorkelen bij het nabijgelegen eiland Menjangan, begeleide trips naar verschillende plaatsen in West-Bali om lokale cultuur en tradities te ervaren, trektochten in het Nationaal Park Bali Barat, mangrovetours, een bezoek aan het schildpaddencentrum of een dagtocht naar de vulkaan Ijen om de blauwe vlammen te zien.

Paradise West-Bali is de perfecte locatie om gewoon te ontspannen en tot rust te komen. Of om langer te verblijven terwijl u werkt op een geweldige locatie. Good value for money
Staff was very friendly and could not help enough, The pool was really nice. Market was about 10 mins bike drive away with less choices - meaning the area does not have super markets to choose from. Beach was nice when there was not too much trash - as the property is near a river mouth there is a lot of trash, but the staff clean up every day. The property needs some maintenance and some items need repairs. Overall the stay was good and our family had a great time.

Everything about this stay exceeded our expectations. It really sounds too good to be true. Great house, great service and full on relaxation. Komang and the rest of the crew were amazing. The food was great and the pool was fantastic. The only downs to the stay is that the beach is covered with litter from the nearby island, yes it is really a four hour drive from the airport and that the internet is spotty (exactly as they tell you). Of course the lack of internet made it easier to relax. You will spend the majority of your day poolside. The entire downstairs glass wall folds in and allows for the breeze to go through the entire house. If you are looking to get away then this is the place. We had three meals a day prepared by the staff and the food was great. If you want to go snorkeling or site seeing the staff arranges for everything. You will see very few tourists because most are staying near the airport. Once again thanks for a great holiday we will be back!!!!

Gorgeous property and friendly staff!
Hey there! This is a great property, exactly as you’d hope it would be. Picture perfect and very friendly staff. Food is excellent. Just be sure to bring cash as you’ll pay for your meals daily and the property is quite secluded. Read the instruction book emailed to you so you’re prepared and bring any special food or beverages you prefer. Best days of lounging and boon reading ever!!! I’ll be back!

Très belle maison dans un très beau cadre
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans cette villa. Nous étions 4 adultes et 3 enfants. Si vous voulez être tranquille loin des touristes c’ est Parfait. Le personnel de maison est parfait. Très agréable. La piscine est top face à la mer. Sable noir mais ça ne dérange pas. Seule bémol pour la mer elle est sale mais comme un peu partout à Bali malheureusement. Nous avions loué des scooters pour se balader c’ Est parfait. Je suis juste déçu pour le choix des plats pour déjeuner et dîner. On vous présente une belle carte pour choisir mais malheureusement tout le monde doit choisir la même chose alors que nous avions 3 enfants !! La raison dite par la cuisinière c’ est qu’elle est seule à préparer alors que le premier jour elles étaient deux. Et que les autres jours il y avait également une autre personne qui venait l’aider pour la vaisselle. C’est fort dommage car les enfants ne mangent pas la même chose que nous!! On a dû s’adapter pas le choix. Également dans le choix de la carte vous n’avez Pas de poisson frais alors que nous voyons les pêcheurs juste en face. !! Pas compris pourquoi. Globalement à part ce détail je recommande cette villa si vous voulez être au calme loin des touristes !

The staff are all amazing and not intrusive at all... Coming from the USA and not having staff in-house, it seemed odd at first to have people attending to us... by the end of the stay we were VERY sad things were coming to a close! The house is beautiful and spacious... the food was amazing and we had 3 meals prepared most days. The staff are easy to communicate with and will go above and beyond to ensure that the stay is amazing. The "open air" concept of most homes in Bali is so nice and this home has a good mix of open air and the AC that many westerners are accustomed to. The area of Bali is very rural and off the beaten path... a perfect place to enjoy time away from the busy, touristy, sections of Bali... If you want an amazing place to stay, look no further! We also had an opportunity to hang out with the owner and his family who were vacationing at one of his other properties at the same time... He invited us to go snorkeling with his family and we had a great time talking about Bali life and learning about his experiences. It was an amazing trip.... I will be returning to this property as soon as I have a chance and will bring friends! Could not be more pleased... :-)

Excellent Stay
My family and I enjoyed an excellent 6-night stay at this Melaya beach house. We would enthusiastically stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. The home is located in a very quiet part of western Bali right on the Indian Ocean. We loved the home's design and amenities. Each bedroom has it's own large, modern bathroom and AC. There are great family spaces to enjoy, including an family/movie room with AC, an outdoor padio/deck on the 2nd level of the house with outstanding views, and the amazing pool area. Our family loved the pool. It is very large and the water is super clear and clean. The home's staff cleaned it each morning. We spent a lot of time in the pool! We also enjoyed the black sand beach. We were a bit worried about the litter/trash before coming (based on other reviews). While there is definitely trash that washes up, the beach was much cleaner than I was expecting, and we enjoyed regular walks along the beach at low tide. Having "staff" in the house cooking meals for you seemed odd to us, so our plan was to visit a local market and cook some of our meals ourselves (our kids are also picky so this seemed like a good idea). However, it didn't turn out that way. Melaya doesn't have a supermarket, and the Hardy's supermarket (in Negara, about 45 minutes away) was a major disappointment with little to offer. As a result, we relied much more on the staff cooking meals than originally planned. This worked out great as we found a number of things the kids liked. In particular, we recommend the pizza, pancakes and french toast! FYI, do not expect to take go out to restaurants/bars, etc., as the home is located in a quiet area with few options. Speaking of the staff, they were excellent. Friendly and very helpful. Made (pronounced 'Maday') and Iluh were there daily to help with meals and clean, and Komang is the property manager that helped arrange excursions and make sure everything was going well. As other reviews mention, it seems odd at first, but you quickly get used to their presence. If you are seeking a low-key, relaxing experience at a modern, well-equipped home on the ocean (with a great pool), this is it. Daily excursions are easy to do and can be arranged by Komang. We enjoyed snorkeling, a jungle trek and a visit to Pemuteran to release a sea turtle. We had a rental car, so getting around was easy for us (but they too can arrange transport). Bottom line...this place is really special!

Awesome vacation 💕
What a fabulous villa and vacation! Everything was as stated in the reservation except for the swan pool floatie! The staff was fabulous from house manager Komang, to pool boy Ngurah, and especially our cooks Made, Kade and Iluh. We could not have asked for better or kinder staff who helped make our stay exceptional. The villa is as stated, at least four hours, depending on construction, from the airport so stock up on water and snacks. Our excursions to Ubud and Kuta were long as well but well worth it. Lovina is only two hours away and also worth the trip. The beach was very dirty in front of the villa and was only cleaned/raked by the staff the second week of our vacation when the owners arrived for their vacation. Unfortunately trash floats to shore daily from the ocean. The infinity pool was clean and inviting! The shade gazebo was absolutely the best. The upper deck was awesome. All the bedrooms were clean, comfy and air conditioned and when one air conditioner broke it was repaired the very next day. We tried almost everything on the menu, Balinese and western! Such a luxury having cooks take care of us for three meals a day! Loved it and them! We had massages at the villa every other day which was so relaxing and fantastic! The only downside to our stay were dead bugs in the kitchen/dishes and a hairy mouse running from under the fridge to the water cooler. We felt the kitchen could have been cleaner when we arrived. The next day when the cooks arrived they did clean the kitchen a bit better and we never saw the mouse again. We understand bugs/critters in hot weather so we were not too shaken up. One caution is to be sure to understand the rate for your driver. We ran into an issue with our driver, Komang (male), who charged us double the price for daily trips. When we finally figured out what he was doing, we contacted our house manager, Komang (female) and then the driver, who hesitantly gave us a refund on the double charges. Be aware! All in all, we had a fabulous vacation at this fantastic villa!! It was so worth the 36 hours it took from Alaska to Bali!! We would recommend this location to anyone looking to relax, swim and unwind!! Thanks so much to all the staff! It was awesome!!!

dieses Haus bietet eine Riesenmenge Platz, der Poolbereich ist wunderbar gestaltet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Umgebung bietet eine schöne Kombination aus Ruhe, Authentizität und Attraktionen - wenn man bereit ist, jeden Tag ca. 1-2 Stunden im Mietwagen oder auf dem Roller zuzubringen. Zusammengefasst: unbedingt eine Empfehlung wert!

YOU HAVE TO STAY HERE!! absolutely amazing, will return
Everything about this place is amazing. As soon as we had to go home we missed the place and were ready to return. The chef is freaking amazing, we tried just about everything on the menu and all our meals were delicious and very filling. All of our requests were met, the table was set for us every time, everything was cleaned up-the food was fantastic and very cheap. All of the bedrooms are large with cupboards and all with fans and aircons that work really well-we didn't have to have them running all day and each bedroom has a massive bathroom. It was so relaxing to be able to hear the ocean and enjoy the fabulous views. There is an upstairs loungeroom with aircon. And then there is the pool-it is absolutely fabulous, so big and amazing and we got a few pool toys. We also used the Kayaks and went for a paddle. It was wonderful just to relax in the pool with fabulous views and listen to the ocean. The gazebo was a fantastic place to relax with drinks and we also had a few wonderful massages in the gazebo. The staff were amazing-very friendly and helpful and met our requests when they were able to. They helped us organise tours(not that we did too much as we were very happy to indulge in paradise at the villa)-our children loved going to feed the monkeys and see the baby turtles. We have all been telling our friends about this place and we will definitely return, it was absolutely amazing. we miss the chef!!! It was about 4 hours to the airport so keep that in mind when organising your travel, but definitely worth the trip. The beach was swept and cleaned each day however there would still be glass and unfortunately a couple of needles wash up from ocean-nothing they could do to prevent it but if you do want to use the beach I would recommend having good water shoes. We were happy to relax in and by the pool so didn't use the beach very much. Thankyou so much for making such a wonderful holiday experience for us. Can't wait to return :)

Very nice relaxed place
We had a wonderfull time in the house. House is very big and the ladies very helpfull and good service! It' s a quiet piece of Bali far from the crowdly places .You can find here the real Bali.(Beachwalk) The house is on a resort of more houses. The manager of the resort is helpfull. Good fresh food made by the ladies.

Magnifique !
Nous sommes restés une dizaine de jours dans cette magnifique maison avec nos enfants de 13 ans et y avons passé de superbes vacances. La maison est encore plus belle que sur les photos. Tout y est propre, fonctionnel, bien pensé, et de qualité. Le staff est vraiment très sympathique, souriant, serviable, discret, tout est très bien organisé et fait pour que vous puissiez vous relaxer. Vous choisissez chaque jour votre menu, ils s’occupent de tout, et vous ramènent la facture des courses (très raisonnable). La cuisinière vous fait découvrir de délicieux plats balinais, et le massage au bord de la piscine est à faire absolument !! La plage est très peu fréquentée, seuls les enfants du village viennent y jouer au ballon et surtout au cerf-volant, et les pêcheurs y replient leurs filets le soir… On y a par moments la sensation de vivre sur une île déserte et au décor paradisiaque. Peu de choses à faire alentour, Negara ne vaut pas vraiment le détour, et les trajets en voiture sont un peu longs. Mais nous avons fait une plongée en snorkeling inoubliable à Menjangan (n’hésitez pas à demander au manager d’organiser la sortie, il connaît les bonnes personnes pour une sortie sans être entassés avec d’autres touristes sur le bateau), et remis des bébés tortues à l’eau à Perançak… Le surf à Medewi (à 1h de route), est aussi une sortie très sympa, avec à proximité le magnifique temple Pura Luhur Rambut Siwi sur la mer. Nous espérons tous pouvoir revenir un jour dans cette magnifique villa…

Geweldige villa en service
5 dagen verblijf in deze prachtige villa. Geweldige service van de manager en de dames die kookten en schoonmaakten. Trip naar Menjangan eiland is de moeite waard. De trip naar de Git Git waterval is veel te ver rijden. Het bezoek aan de monkey tempel en hot springs is leuk. Villa ligt in de middle of nowhere maar de manager regelt het transport naar diverse locaties, uiteraard tegen betaling (normale taxi tarieven).

5 jours au Paradis!
Quel magnifique séjour ! Difficile de trouver les mots pour décrire ce petit coin de Paradis! Une villa magnifique en bord de mer, une décoration parfaite, un confort maximum, dans un village très sympathique! Vous n'êtes certe pas dans l'endroit le plus touristique de Bali mais une fois sur place, croyez moi, vous n'aurez plus jamais envie de repartir! Outre le confort et la beauté des lieux, c'est certainement le sourire des dames qui travaillent dans cette villa qui ont fait de notre séjour une réussite totale! Une si belle rencontre... Si vous passez par là remettez leur nos amitiés sincères..

QUIET & RELAXING HOLIDAY IN PARADISE
Myself and 2 girlfriends decided to go to Bali for a holiday this year and what a great trip! We read the reviews and I booked us for 8 nights of "girl time". The house is truly beautiful from style to decor. We were greeted by the house staff upon arrival after a long trip from Denpasar airport with a refreshing drink. As many reviewers had stated, the house is a distance from the airport (around 100km) but since the roads are all 2 lanes and packed with motor bikes, trucks and cars it slows the traffic down tremendously . Our arrival took around 5 hours and our departure to the airport took a little over 4, but if I was to book again, I would not hesitate to do so. The house is in a secluded area of Malaya right on the beach and every day you see the island of Java across the water. We got to watch the local fishermen, the children at play on the beach and a few motorbikes scurry back and forth at low tide daily. We had asked for the staff to prepare our meals every day and we were not disappointed! We tried lots of the local dishes but also some of the Western meals as well. They were always a pleasure to be around. The staff also do massages! It was a perfect way to end a day in the sun! If you want to escape from electronic devices, then this is the spot for you. WiFi is sketchy and had we not needed to check in with family it would not have been an issue. I recommend to pick up a SIM card at the airport unless you have an international data package. Seems we picked a time when a tower was down, therefore, WiFi was not the greatest for us. But the manager secured a second router which allowed us a backup when needed. If you want to go on excursions, just ask the staff to contact the manager and he will come by and get it set up with the driver. In the lower level credenza there are pamphlets of day trips. All in all, the 3 of us had a delightful time and was sad to see it end.

One of the best vacations!!
One of the best vacations that I’ve had in my travels. The villa is located away from the city (4 hours from Denpasar), on a quiet stretch of beach. The view looking out at the ocean and sunset is forever in my memory. We enjoyed many tours as well as days lounging in and around the magnificent infinity pool. The staff was extraordinary, 3 meals cooked daily, grounds keepers and the house manager cared for our every need and made all arrangements for us. We were blessed with having an exceptional driver who looked out for us at every stop. I only have a few regrets: 1.) that I didn’t learn a bit of the language before traveling to Bali (it was never an issue, just would have been a nice gesture on my part) and 2.) that I couldn’t stay longer. Coming home to Alaska and -38 degrees was not pleasant. I look forward to my next visit to Bali and seeing my new found friends again. I feel blessed. Thank you Egon for a wonderful stay.

After almost four months at this fabulous villa...
What can we say after almost four months in this over-the-top villa other than an astounding...WOW! Yes, its in a remote location that requires an interesting four hour drive from Denpasar but it was worth every moment. Not only is the villa, situated directly on the beach, with views overlooking the infinity pool, extraordinary in its comfort and design but the staff of four; two cooks, a pool guy and an exceptional house man Gede, made the experience all the more exciting. As world traveler writers (four years so far) we can easily espouse the virtues of this fine property. Its somewhat remote location appealed to our senses but we weren't ever bored for a moment. The local interests on the beach each day provided us with ample curiosity and entertainment. Although not scuba divers or snorkeler we stayed totally entranced by the local's Hindu holidays, celebrations and kind and gentle nature. Not many restaurants nearby but the meals prepared by the cooks was, without a doubt, comparable to an upscale restaurant with rave reviews. Never once did we feel a desire to dine out. We left the villa for five nights to head to Lovina for extend our visas staying in an exquisite resort but as the five days wore on, we were anxious to get back to the villa for all the special amenities and loving attention from the staff. We leave here with heaviness in our hearts, grateful for a highly memorable experience and thankful to the owners and staff for making this an ideal vacation/holiday property. The Wi-Fi signal is sketchy but adequate for email, checking flights, etc. and searching for local activities. There's plenty to do here for the adventurous sports minded but as more low key travelers we never felt deprived being away from the hubbub and enjoyed our trips to the local villages. The walks in the neighborhood took our breath away whether we spotted the big male buffaloes that are walked along the beach in the late afternoon, or some of the biggest pigs we've yet to see. The house is impeccably clean, the bedrooms all have good air con and the beds comfortable and well tended. One of the two living rooms has air con, if desired but we never used it in that room, only in the bedroom. Fantastic
Fantastic Villa in a truly beautiful location. Staff were more than helpful - on hand if you needed them - but in the background if you didn't. The Manager was always available to help if you needed him. Enjoyed the relaxation and also the tours that the manager arranged. The villa will benefit from a nearby restaurant which is due to open in 2017 as it will give the choice of eating in or out without having to travel. The people of Bali are truly the nicest and friendliest people I have come across, always giving a wave and 'hello' whoever you passed. Was very sad when the holiday came to an end.

Amazing
The Boat house is a beautiful villa which surpassed my expectations. The villa is as shown in the pictures. It was a peaceful location with stunning views. Great facilities with lots of relaxation areas. Great place to experience the real old fashion Bali and a peaceful retreat to relax and unwind. The location is ideal - picturesque and very quiet, while being only a short distance from the little markets, shops and the ferry to Java. The villa is so well equipped, you really won't want to leave it - but Bali is such a magical place you really need to get out and about and experience the island. If you chose to go out, there are plenty of ways to explore the island. By car, by mountain bike, by canoe or by ferry to Java just 25 minutes from the Villa. ‘’Note that all these facilities are already in the villa to use’’. Also excursions are possible. Just contact one of the owners for a guide. They will definitely help you to arrange these excursions ranging from trips to the island Java or the jungle, the volcano or popular places near to the villa. The villa has a modern decor and plenty of room. The pool area is great, very clean and the water is nice. I in particularly enjoyed the artwork in the villa, the stunning views of the beach and ocean from the balcony and the traditional food in the villa was amazing. The cooks in the villa use fresh products every day and also speak English if you have any questions concerning to allergies (I am lactose intolerant). The staff is very friendly and you actually don’t even notice they are there. I would definitely stay here again (I already have stayed 2 times in this villa: two weeks in July/August and two weeks with Christmas). I would say you would not go wrong if you decide to rent this property. I Loved my time here! Anouk-Louise Pennings

Geweldige tijd!
Beach House West-Bali scoort voor ons een dikke tien! We werden met een drankje welkom geheten en daarna hebben we genoten van een heerlijke welkomstmaaltijd. De bedden zijn super en de airco werkt goed. Ook het dekbed was lekker zacht. Na een goede nachtrust heerlijk onder een regendouche en genoten van onze welkomstontbijt. De matrassen op de strandbedden zijn dik en liggen lekker (we hebben dan ook heel wat uurtjes heerlijk in het zonnetje dit uitgeprobeerd), de handboeken netjes en schoon en het zwembad is super groot. Ook met een boekje in de jacuzzi ons goed vermaakt. Het strand wordt elke dag door het personeel schoongemaakt en nodigt uit voor lange strandwandelingen. Ontzettend leuk om de vissers bezig te zien: vanaf het strand met hun visnetten of op het water zittend op een band met een hengeltje. De vis kun je proeven in een lokaal visrestaurant, zo’n 200 meter verderop. Wij hebben dit geprobeerd en het smaakte goed. Je moet alleen wel heel lang wachten (reken op minimaal 1 uur), voordat het eten wordt geserveerd. Het personeel vraagt elke dag wat je wilt eten en haalt de boodschappen voor je en maakt het eten klaar. Het Balinese eten is lekker, maar ook de pizza en de kiphamburgers zijn een aanrader. We hebben een tocht gemaakt naar de Ijen Vulcano, ontzettend indrukwekkend om de plaatselijke bevolking met 70 kilo! Sulfaat de berg af te zien lopen. En dit doen ze een paar keer per dag. We hebben een stukje sulfaat meegenomen als souvenir voor als we weer in ons eigen landje zijn. Onze begeleider Nono sprak enorm goed Engels en weet veel van de natuur en de bevolking. Hij heeft ons goed begeleid tijdens de tocht en ik zou iedereen aanraden speciaal naar Nono te vragen voor deze excursie. Snorkelen op de Menjangan Eilanden is echt een geweldige ervaring; wat een mooie vissen hebben we gezien. En wat een leuke tocht met een echt traditionele vissersboot naar het eiland zelf. Ook de monniken en de herten op het eiland waren de moeite waard. Onze dank gaat uit naar het team van Beach House West-Bali. Wat een geweldige vakantie hebben wij gehad dankzij jullie goede zorg en aandacht. Elke dag ontzettend heerlijk eten voor ons gemaakt, het huis tip top in orde gemaakt en ons super verwend. Hopelijk tot volgend jaar!

Perfect getaway

Amazing Stay!
Our group of 8 (two families) had a wonderful stay at this villa in Melaya. The location is great (very peaceful) and the villa is very spacious with excellent facilities. We found the villa to be real value for money, in particular the meals cooked by the staff were awesome and we enjoyed everything we ate (at very reasonable cost). We certainly hope to stay here again in the future!
