Family house and hunting lodge, this house, whose construction was completed in 1777, is located in the center of the village of Melay in the heart of Brionnais. Located next to the church and overlooking the village, the house and its park enjoy great calm even though all the shops (bakery, mini-market, caterer, restaurant cafes and tobacco shop) are within walking distance.

The house has kept many elements of architecture, furniture and decoration of the time: life in this house is in some respects a plunge into 19th century France ...

These last years have allowed us to bring to the house the elements of modern comfort essential for a pleasant stay without altering its old-fashioned charm: the rooms all have a sleeping parents in 160, the house is equipped with three bathrooms and a complete appliance set.

Large capacity charming house with 23 beds, the large kitchen, the dining room, the small living room and boudoir, as well as the six bedrooms upstairs and three bathrooms will allow you to enjoy the place with ease. family or friends.
The house is equipped with a heated indoor swimming pool, accessible from September 15 to June 15. During the summer season from June 15 to September 15, the outdoor swimming pool is available.

Note: The prices (updated on 02/17/19) include the consumption of water and electricity.
Heating is billed separately for all services (house and indoor pool and sauna) as follows:
From June 1 to September 30: € 30 / night
From October 1 to November 30 and from March 1 to May 31: € 50 / night
From December 1 to February 29: € 65 / night.


The cleaning, the supply of bed linen and towels are optional on request as follows:

Cleaning fee at end of stay: € 200

Bed linen package: € 200 / stay for all beds (beds must be made by tenants)

Bath towel package: € 60 / stay for the group (1 towel per person)

Beautiful house in France
Lovely house with loads of character. Excellent for large groups as loads of space. Limited wardrobes that were usable ! Shame that the outdoor pool kept loosing water and the lining was a bit green so we didn’t use it. Lovely owners very helpful and a very helpful local lady. Nice village. We had a lovely stay. Thank you Frabrice for the wheelchair ramps they worked a treat!

wonderful stay in historic building
Our stay in Melay surpassed our expectations and our family gathering enjoyed the lovely building and peaceful surroundings where our children could play safely in the sun. This beautiful building has an excellent location in the centre of the beautiful village of Melay and is a short drive from larger towns. This was an ideal place for our family to meet up, relax and enjoy this part of France. Lots of space inside and outside the property and comes highly recommended. Merci.

50 ans la belle vie
Nous avons organiser notre séjour pour 7 personnes voulant fêter leur 50ieme anniversaire autour de la passion qui nous a rassemblé, le jeu de rôle. Peu de sorti en perspective mais de nombreuses heure entre jeu "d'acteur" et roulage de dé. 5 jours donc au rythme assez décalé mais sans pour autant dénigrer la qualité de nos repas enrichi par la qualité des produits du marché de Marcigny. Notre rythme assez décalé a cependant mis en avant une petite faille dans le choix de l'hébergement de nos activité : la proximité de l'église don le cloché sonnent à toutes heure et demi-heure de 7 heure à 22h surtout difficile pour ceux voulant récupérer d'une longue soirée de jeu. La gérante du gîte est très accueillante et fournit toute les expications qui nous on permis de profiter au mieux des commodité et plus particulièrement du Sauna et de la piscine.

Envie de calme dans un bel endroit ?
Superbe maison qui a su rester dans sa sublime de 1770. Les deux piscines sont un vrai plus qui vous permet de profiter de l'extérieur par tout les temps! Petit bonus, la dame s'occupant de l'accueil est très agréable, arrangeante sur les horaires (car j'étais en retard...) et toujours souriante !

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. La maison dispose de beaux espaces et offre une ambiance incroyable, alliant caractère et modernité. Excellente semaine d'été en Bourgogne
Venus à trois familles, vous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette demeure pleine d'âme, construite sous l'ancien régime. La propriété permet aux enfants de jouer à leur guise, et les deux piscines permettent à chacun de trouver son ambiance. Les environs bourguignons nous ont donné de bonnes opportunités de sorties. Les cloches de l'église voisine nous ont parfois réveillés un peu tôt, mais cela fait partie du charme du lieu.

Nous sommes restés un week end avec toute ma famille. Tout s'est bien passé, à l'exception du four et du sauna que nous avons eu respectivement du mal et pas réussit à allumer. De plus l'option payante des draps ne fournit que les draps sans les installer. Malgré cela nous recommandons cette magnifique maison!

Immense maison avec beaucoup de charme
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour,le coeur de la maison est la très grande cuisine avec sa grande table ,le petit salon,comme son nom l’indique,peut difficilement accueillir 12 personnes confortablement.Quelques regrets,la température un peu juste de la piscine intérieure ( surcoût de 150 euros pour les 2 nuits ) et l’absence de sanitaires communs à l’étage.Même si les chambres aménagées avec wc et douche sont très agréables. L’espace jardin doit être magnifique en été.

Une très grande demeure, ou chacun peut avoir sa chambre. Au calme et maison très bien isolé, pas d’humidité. La cheminée a été très apprécié. La piscine également qui nous a paru tiéde mais a suffit à nous divertir!!😊 Nous retenons l’adresse pour un été en famille ou entre amis! Juste si vous pouvez ajouter que des lits parapluie sont dispo! Ça évite de s’encombrer😊

Nous nous sommes retrouvé en famille dans cette demeure. Nous étions 15 dont 3 ados, et un petit de 2 ans. Nous avons tous apprécié ce lieu. Tout est très bien équipé. Le charme d'origine de la maison a été conservé. Les nombreuses salles de bain, la piscine et le sauna sont vraiment appréciables. La communication avec les propriétaires et la dame qui gère sur place est facile. Tout était parfait. Nous recommandons et n'hésiterons pas à revenir.

The house was impressing. Some points for improvement: make the WIFI better: The WiFi only available in one room. The oven was also not working good, which was unfortunate because normally we use this a lot with a big group. Also replace waste bin and sweeper and dustpan: small things but in use a lot nicer.

Perfect verblijf in een prachtig huis
Deze woning heeft alles! Wij hebben met een grote groep vrienden een hele mooie vakantie gehad in de eerste week van oktober. Heerlijk genoten van het binnenzwembad en de sauna. Op een of andere manier hadden wij gedacht dat we van zaterdag tot zaterdag hadden geboekt (geen idee waarom we dat dachten want in de boekingsbevestiging stond duidelijk van zondag tot en met zondag). We kwamen dus een dag te vroeg aan, maar dat was geen enkel probleem! Als we na een paar uur zouden terugkomen zou het huis schoongemaakt zijn voor ons verblijf. Het enige minpuntje is dat er nog (behoorlijke) kosten bijkwamen voor elektra/gas, bedlinnen en schoonmaak, maar die kosten waren het meer dan waard. Veel dank voor het verblijf!

Séjour de rêve
Un séjour époustouflant au cœur de la saone et Loire très bien situé pour visiter et se situe en plein village à côté d un proxi marche le vendredi l hotesse Nada est fantastique à l écoute disponible pour nous faire passer un séjour de rêve dans un château de tous les Charmes très grande cuisine avec de très belles chambres 2 salles à manger et le top des tops sont la piscine extérieure fantastique et piscine intérieure digne d un 5 étoiles avec son sauna douche chaude son jardin avec table sous tonel séjour exceptionnel dans un cadre de rêve à revivre !!!!!
