"People at the reception were rude. Everything is closed from noon to 3pm. So all indoor activities are closed even if the weather is bad. Children are not allowed to the indoor pool except very early in the morning or one hour before closing. We came to have swimming activities with our child when the weather is bad.... Fail. Also the mini golf was not "open" anymore. The only thing they would have to do is clean it. The playground and the gym were also very run down. "

"Fabulous accommodation; very close to Lacanau Lake with plenty of water sports activities available. Only short drive from Lacanau Océan Resort. We loved our stay here. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. The swimming pool was lovely for cooling off and the bakery pre-order service was a nice touch. Moat of all, the warm welcome and friendly staff made our visit. We hope to return in the future and highly recommend Les Vacancioles."

Very nice House

"The house is very nice in a quite Neighbourhood. We thought it would be closer to the beach. To get to the beach you need a car or you need to be willing to walk a few Kilometers. Overall the house is great. It's very nice and clean, also great to just spend an easy day at the pool. "

"We went with my son age 9 and he loved the pools. It was very handy for the beautiful beach and Atlantic Sea. It was also very convenient for the Carrefour Contact supermarket and all the bars, shops and restaurants in town. We had a studio for x4 people ( we were a group of 3) and it was perfectly adequate. Very clen and a nice balcony. It was a bit small, but much bigger than where we had briefly stayed before going there. But we booked very much at the last minute and we liked it. We would like to come again and book a larger apartment. There is no air con, but we had two plug in fans that we had bought with us, so those and the balcony door being left open when we were there , was fine. "

Stay at Lacanau Ocean

"Very good and clean property with all facilities you would need. Booking and check in was all straight forward and the staff at the agency very helpful. The house is just over the road from a supermarket that is also not obtrusive. Also is just a couple of streets and 2 minute walk from the very long sandy beach and the sea front shops, cafes and bars. Again, not obtrusive as the house is far enough away not be be disturbed by the entertainment there. The whole Lacanau Ocean and Medoc region is great to explore and very quiet as far as numbers of people are concerned. We went in early June, so nice and quiet for us. We hired a car from Bordeaux where we stayed overnight before moving west. All absolutely spot-on. And many thanks to the owner and the agency staff, very much appreciated."
