"As a senior, female traveling alone, I especially liked the safety of the front parking lot. The hotel was very quiet, clean, and my room was quite comfortable. I had requested a nonsmoking room and it was fresh and odor free. Brenda and Dave at the front desk were especially wonderful and kind. I was in the area from out of state for a medical appointment, and my GPS stopped working. They both did their utmost to fix the situation, but the bottom line was, it let me down 45 minutes before my appointment in Kingston! Dave was just leaving his night shift, and turning the reception desk over to Brenda. Dave graciously offered to go out of his way, and used his GPS to lead the way to the address of my appointment. He refused compensation and told me instead to make a donation to a charity of my choice. I can't say enough about these two young employees. It also speaks well of the hotel management who hired them. There is no question where I will be staying for all subsequent medical appointments. Days Inn, Wilkes Barre, Pa.! "

"Overall, we were pleased with our one-night hotel stay. We were promptly checked in upon arriving, the room was clean, the AC worked well, and the beds were comfortable. The hotel was quiet and we were all able to sleep well. The made-to-order breakfast was a nice option.The hotel was only a few minutes away from the F.M. Kirby Center where we went to see a music show. "
