Its a great pkace to stay since its right near the resort area but far enough away for peace and quiet. Very cloae to the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge.where we did alot of hiking. The cabin is nicely remodeled and clean.
Wonderful, quiet home just up the road from the main street. Easy to walk to the main attractions and restaurants in town then a quick drive to the wildlife refuge. Everything was clean and well-stocked. We enjoyed our time in the house, enjoying the outdoors on the deck, and the easy walk to everything in town and the lake.

Close to Wichita Wildlife Refuge, But…
The property has an easy to use digital lock and is mostly well stocked but no regular sugar for coffee. There is no electrical outlet in the bathroom that we could find. The towels were fluffy but stank from all of the fabric softener as did the sheets. In fact, the odor was so strong I turned off the two very loud window ACs and opened a window to air out the place but there were no screens on the windows and no screen door. Due to the flying critters the window and door could not be left open. The windows still have their stickers and it has been awhile since the blinds have been opened and cleaned.
The deck was very pleasant and the tree did a good job of hiding the neighbor’s house but one deck chair cushion was ripped and needs cleaning. There is a nice tv and more than adequate seating.
The Wichita Wildlife Refuge is wonderful! No buts….
New to the area so we didn’t know what to expect but this cabin turned out to be a welcome surprise! It is very cozy and well decorated inside and the deck out front was fun for coffee and chats. I would recommend!
Great updated property with all the amenities. It’s a little far from the downtown area to wall, so you need to drive or rent a golf cart. Would stay again.
The cabin was perfect for what my husband and I were looking for. It was a great landing place for our adventures in Medicine Park and the Wichitas. We would stay here again for future trips.
The one bedroom cabin was so cute and the perfect spot for hiking and photography in the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge. Medicine Park was also a neat town. I would definitely stay here again.
We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. Host had notebook with check in and out instructions, contact information, local attraction and restaurants. I found it very helpful. Would definitely rent again!

Great little cabin with a homey feel!
We loved this little cabin! Everything you need and more! Decorated so cute and the couches are insanely comfortable. The deck was perfect for enjoying an evening under the stars. We rented a golf cart and cruised the town (from Roger who is just a few houses away). We had a blast!
Overall, we had a nice stay. The tv only had the owners streaming accounts, need at least an antenna for local stations(we just air played off of my phone). The only real minus was the dog in the yard behind the house that constantly barked.
Excellent proximity to Fort sill and beautiful views
Great place, close proximity to Fort Sill, and just around the bend and up the hill is a beautiful view of Lake Lawtonka/mountains. Go at sunset! We loved Medicine Park. Though most of the stores were closed while we were there, the walk around the park gave some beautiful scenery to enjoy after a fabulous dinner at the Old Plantation Restaurant.
This cabin was very cute, clean, and well stocked. We loved spending time at the cabin. It’s the perfect location because it’s close enough to everything downtown in Medicine Park but isn’t in the middle of all the busyness. We cooked at the cabin and used the grill. It’s cooked our steak to perfection! Sitting on the deck in the front of the house was such a treat. Watching the deer on the top of the hill while drinking coffee was so peaceful. The shower worked properly and always had hot water available the living room was so nice and cozy to sit on the cute gray sectional and listen to music on our Alexa that we brought. It’s nice that they had wifi to be able to do that. There is a nice variety of board games as well as kayaks. We didn’t get to do the kayaks because we had other things planned and time didn’t allow. I saw some reviews complaining about unfinished work from the remodel. Nothing is really exposed. That just really wasn’t an issue for me. My only real complaint is that the pillows on the bed were horrible. They are small and go pretty flat. I didn’t reach out to the host about it because the next day we just got ourselves some new pillows. At night there were probably 1,000 flying gnat looking bugs everywhere. We couldn’t get in the car without a ton of them getting in. This is not a complaint just letting you know to remember to bring some bug spray or a bug zapper. We really enjoyed our time here and would love to come back again and stay here. The view is so beautiful!

Very cozy little house, clean and updated, although a couple of areas still need to be finished (closets/storage with no doors, and a hole above the front door). It had everything we needed inside and a large deck with plenty of furniture and a grill. It was very quiet and only a couple minute drive to main street. The landscaping could use some attention infront and around the house. Also a little pricey for what it is. But overall we had a great time and really enjoyed coming "home" to it after hiking all day.
