A Lovely Guest House Retreat
We had a great time staying at Harper’s Landing. It was lovely inside and had everything we needed. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. It’s right on the river. We really enjoyed walking around the nearby Lake Elmer Thomas. It’s also very close to the Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge which has many awesome trails to explore and wild buffalo to see.

Lovely place just as advertised!
Lovely little place to see the local sites in the area. The house was well equipped, clean, comfortable and cozy. The proper owners were right on sight and available for anything we needed. Private and very quiet. Had a wonderful stay.

Momo and Friends
This is our fifth year staying at Harpers Landing and we have been more delighted every year with both the lodging and animal friends, especially Momo. He is a friendly dog who has led us and our dog to the “hidden beach”, lake overlook and other local sights. His stay at home friend Kevin is an extremely friendly pot bellied pig. Everyday our grandkids, our dog and us enjoyed morning walks accompanied and led by Momo. We will definitely return next year for another dose of Momo and Kevin, as well as the Holts

Late Summer Getaway
We had a great time enjoying each other’s company without the responsibilities of home life. Our stay was lovely in part to staying in a beautiful, well equipped home! Family day with our graduating soldier.
We had an extremely comfortable stay, fantastic, communication, and just the perfect little getaway and hangout during our family day with our graduating from basic training soldier. Kitchen is well stocked with staples. Bed was super comfy. Owners were great to work with. Highly recommend.

Perfect location. Close to all attractions. Beautiful Clean place fill with all essentia amenities.
We had a wonderful stay. Perfect perfect location! It was clean and packed with the essentia amenities including a fridge full of drinks and a basket of goodies. We got to meet the owners who were very kind and we even got to meet Mr. Kevin bacon the pig, he is absolutely adorable and friendly. We will definitely be back!.

Close enough to everything with seclusion and privacy
The property is well stocked and provides all you need for your stay. We brought our dogs and loved the proximity to the owners small variety of farm animals. The pig, dog, and chickens provided entertainment for us and the dogs. We loved how it was along the river but not in the middle of the all the traffic. You can get in the water from the dock and float down to the main swim area and walk the town to check out vendors. We loved driving Mt. Scott and driving out to the wildlife refuge for sunset-a definite must see to spot elk, buffalo, and longhorns. Coming home after a long day in the sun was awesome because the cabin provides such nice amenities and the bathroom is just perfect! You have to check this spot out.
