"I spent two nights on the property. The sign on the road is sometimes hard to see for the turn off. There are permanent resident families living in houses and RVs on the property right next to the house where you stay, so if that bothers you, or if loose dogs bothers you it might not work for you. It appears to be an old tobacco farm, with historical buildings on the property and plenty of woods to frolic in. I was here for the fishing so I didn't spend much time on the property but on Lake...

If you plan to rent a boat be aware that the part of the lake this house is on requires you to pass under an extremely narrow bridge (hands on ceiling and walls to push pontoon boat through) to access house from main lake. Boat house/dock was amazing- best we’ve used here at lake Gaston! Host was responsive and easy to communicate with. Would come back again! Overall great stay!"
