"We stayed at Shasta cottage with our daughter and her family for an early Christmas. We live in PEI and wanted a place we could all stay. Shasta cottage is a beautiful place and we had everything we needed to do a bbq turkey dinner. The host was very nice and came to meet us the night we got there. "We were very pleased with the cottage inside , it was clean and met our expectations. All necessities were provided. Our concern was the back yard of the property. As advertised it did have a fire table as well as lounging furniture. The backyard when we arrived was disappointing the grass had not been cut and was very long, no furniture was put out as well the fire table was not outside. When I contacted the property manager I was told due to weather they do not leave out the furniture?? Well...

"This place is so perfect for a family get together! The pictures are exactly accurate. The place was very clean and well stocked. Beautifully decorated too! The only issue we had were the twin bunk beds. They’re perfect for kids but my 70 year old brother and his wife didn’t care for them. lol. All the beds were very comfortable too. The host was excellent in communicating, getting back to me quickly with any questions. Definitely will stay again! Loved it!"

"We stayed the month of August, the house is beautifully maintained, super clean and as described. The backyard is where we spent the most time, those views!!! Water is calm and shallow with lots of water toys to have fun with. Location was great, close to shopping and fun day trips. Host was easy to deal with, prompt communication appreciated. "We had the pleasure of staying in this relatively secluded home in the Meaford area. Our stay was enjoyable and we would love to return again at some point. There are all the comforts of home and its perfect to get away from the hussle and bustle as they say. We had a great time using the kayaks and life jackets were available. "What a wonderful stay we had this past weekend, the rental was very clean, comfortable and had such a cozy atmosphere. The check in process was very smooth and easy. The beds were comfortable and the bunk beds were quite large. The full kitchen and availability of utensils, pots, pans and dinner ware was an added bonus while feeding a group of 14. Very close to the village and all amenities. Overall, 10/10 would definitely stay here again!"
