"This home was perfect size for 2 families with young children. Spacious bedrooms to fit porta crib and all the extras. Enjoyed the private and quiet space. Clean and host was very accommodating. We would stay in this home again if in the area. Although we weren’t able to utilize the outdoor fire pit area it is a great entertainment area. "

"This welcoming, well-equipped home had something for every generation-and we cover Alpha to Boomer. My 5 year olds wanted to live here forever. They were irate when they found out we were heading home. It was one of the best equipped kitchens I have encountered and I loved being able to shut the door to the raucus kids playing foosball. Will def be on my return here list"

"My granddaughter, her partner, 4 year old son and newborn baby stayed with me for the week. The rooms at the back were my evening retreat and we used the main rooms for daily activities. Negatives: I had to set mouse traps. Also, the pressure in the entryway pulls the outside door open whenever either of the other two doors are closed. "

"We had a wonderful time joining family and staying in this cozy home for a few days. Prior to check-in, the owner gave us more specific, helpful directions as to the exact location. Walking distance to the lake, firepit available for use near shore, chairs to use outside, and a porch with outside seating was very handy. We had plans within Syracuse for one day and stayed at the house another. Plenty of games available. We will definitely consider staying here again. Small suggestions to improve...

"House was perfect for our needs -- a long parents weekend visit to Colgate. Not exactly Colgate adjacent, but convenient to the airport, Syracuse and right on Lake Oneida and 30 min to Colgate. Just down the road from Verona Beach State Park and it's possible to keep walking to Sylvan Beach -- and with perfect fall weather it was an amazing walk. House was great to cook in and made for a fine remote work location. I only wish we'd made better use of the she shed /man cave b/c it is an awesome...

"Check in was great. The property was great. The view and location was great. We watched lots of sailboats and geese in the water. There was a huge hot tub for us to enjoy. We BBQ'd on the grill and had plenty of dining seating indoors and out. Also a nice propane fire pit to sit by sipping on our wine the host left for us. There was not a pool like the listing said but we didn't mind. Overall great stay and would stay there again. on our wine "
