At the back of this beautiful forest property sits a very large, majestic Ponderosa Pine nicknamed Penelope. We figure Penelope has been on this land far longer than the cabins and houses that surround it, so we call this her place. And just like Penelope provides shelter and comfort to the creatures of the surrounding forest, we strive to provide all the creature comforts to the guests staying in this beautifully appointed four-bedroom home that sits one block off the lake. (Please note: there is no public lake access in this neighborhood.)
After a comfortable night's sleep in one of the cozy memory foam or pillow top beds, enjoy a hot cup of coffee or tea on the front deck, enjoying the sounds of the forest and morning light peaking through the trees. Or in colder weather, get a fire going in the wood burning stove and stream one of your favorite movies or shows on the cozy sectional while still enjoying the view of the surrounding forest. You could even crack open a good book in the adjoining library, or get another movie going in the second floor bonus space.
When it's time to eat, use the fully equipped kitchen or outdoor grill, and then enjoy in the spacious dining room, the more casual space at the kitchen bar, or take it outdoors to the picnic bench. Be sure to listen for the sounds of woodpeckers foraging for their dinner, and don't be surprised to see a deer or two making their way across the property.
Enjoy the evening once again on the deck, or take a walk around the block, enjoying the lake views and forest full of pines and aspens.
Penelope's Place is ideally located to enjoy the wild beauty McCall has to offer yet is only 2 miles from downtown McCall, and is centrally located between Brundage Mountain and North Beach.

Things to Note:
No public lake access from this home. Must drive to North Beach or Legacy Park in McCall.
This home has exterior cameras that record motion and sound.
No pets. No smoking. No events.
This home has a nearby drainage ditch in which guests may hear the sound of water pumping (this will happen more often in the Spring).
This home has a two night minimum stay, but some date ranges require a 3 or 4 night stay.
Make yourself at home, but please be respectful of locked cupboards and doors that indicate a private space.
All of our properties have self-check in via keyless entry or lockbox. Guest access codes and check in information will be sent to guests one week prior to arrival.
Parties and events are NOT allowed at this property.
Check in is any time after 4PM. Check out is at 10AM.
The guest renting this home must be an adult 25 years or older and will be an occupant of the unit during the entire reservation period.
This property is subject to all City ordinances, including those specific to noise levels, occupancy, and safety.
All reservations must submit identification and sign the DoneRight Management rental agreement w/in 72 hours of booking.

To start your vacation off right, we've provided a day's worth of supplies, including your morning coffee, paper towels, bathroom tissue, and garbage bags. Also provided where required is propane for gas grills and enough wood for indoor fireplace use during your stay. For properties with a fire pit, guests will need to purchase wood, available at several local stores.
Each rental property also includes a guest book with information and tips unique to the home, along with recommendations, local activities and events, local emergency contact information, including how to contact us – we're always just a phone call away.
