"We LOVED this charming hotel! People were amazing and nice. So much to see. Poor and hot tub were fantastic although lady “monitoring the pool” was incredibly rude to multiple people and very abrasive. Mexican food resteraunt was not good and lady argued with me when I said my son didn’t like his food and he found it spicy “ it’s not spicy we make this all the time for children” Do not tell me my child doesn’t find something spicey. They make their fajitas with teriyaki and it’s pretty gross. Other than that the room was so comfortable and clean- kids loved it and all the little touches- rubber duck in the bathroom for them to have in the tub, ear plugs in case it was too noisy on the bed, little suckers were a great touch too, and the free gift at gift shop- the lady there is amazingly kind and funny, drink coupon. When we go to Ely for next years wrestling tournament this will be our go to!!"

"Had to spend one night in Ely. Since it seems a bit older, I did not expect the room to be as nice as it was. I stayed just off the casino, but could not hear it. The front desk was a little hard to find, but the staff was helpful and pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, but the best part was the food I got at the bar. The bartender told me the restaurant is "farm to table" and the beef came from 12 miles up the road. I only had a side, which was Brussels sprouts, and they were very good. I can't wait to get back to Ely to try a steak!"

"It was a great place, especially for the price. The check-in process was super easy, the doors have keyless entry. The owner was super friendly. The place is not a luxury hotel by any means but it was clean. For a hot second, I thought that there was no shower in the room but it was just hidden behind the door. It needs a little paint, repair, etc. The bed was too firm for me personally. But the room was comfy and warm and just what I needed after a giant snowstorm and a 13 hour drive. I'd stay again."

"The host's attention to details made it feel like home. Everything you'd need. Very comfortable beds, stocked pantry, renovated but still kept historical details, like antique skeleton doorknobs. We loved the history of the home which she shared in a welcome book and gave us ideas for things to do. Friendly, quiet older neighborhood... perfect for my family if 4 and pup. "
