"+ The hotel is placed in the middle of everything, the room was nice and had lots of space and a great balcony. The madrass were very good and aircon/fan was working around the clock, so the room was always in temperature. All the pools were perfect. - I would have loved to know - in advance- that my room was placed in another building, as I travel alone. At breakfast my table were cleaned (even for food) and my table given to someone else when I was getting a refill. The breakfast were good, but food "a la carte" was no good"

"Lovely property in a quiet corner of Stonetown. Great swimming pool. Historic quality of hotel added a charming feel. Most rooms overlook the ocean. The amenities were complete and the room was very comfortable. Spend a little extra to get an outside balcony or verandah. The staff was wonderful and helpful. There are lots of restaurants nearby. I can't speak for the food at the on property restaurant since I had to leave early and skipped the breakfast. I would definitely stay here again on a Stonetown visit. "

"Beyond a beautiful setting, the staff and service make Mvuvi very special. Everyone is kind and helpful — including the drivers they use. They use a WhatsApp group to inform you of opportunities and activities. And a direct WhatsApp to organize transfers and answer questions. The breakfasts are delicious. I also loved the salt water pool. I stayed on the beach lounge side of the property in room 16 (up stairs) my colleague stayed in the room below (12) that had convenient walk out. Both had sea view. "The place need more entertaining as is very quiet area the location if you want to go anywhere you need taxi. The room has not tv cleaning ladies come early to do the room when we asked to wait some time and few minutes later they come again - was problem with air conditioning no working well but resolve and also two day we have issue with water in room for shower and toilet etc -food is ok in general nothing wow- the desert cakes etc feel not home made from taste and how look fake style and taste - friendly staff - bar did not have anything Simlar as Bailey - the out hrs food was not much to chose and also never had ice cream on any meal - only the one to buy in the shop and hay is not included on "
