"A beautiful hotel, with lovely friendly happy staff, who always gave a huge morning welcome at breakfast time. Delicious healthy breakfast and the best coffee, I've tasted in a long time, I had to go back for another. I felt very safe and it's in a great location to get to/from the ferry and to walk around to the shops and restaurants. "

"I loved the charm of the old building. Breakfast was included and was very good. The famous Lukmaan restaurant is right around the corner. There is a mosque across the alley, so you will hear the call to prayer unless you’re a heavy sleeper. There is also street noise but it usually gets quieter the later it gets. There is no parking. Make sure the taxi driver points out the building because it’s very nondescript. Overall a great place to stay. "

"Such a beautiful property! It was not crowded during our stay so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Our suite was a bigger sized suite that was perfect for us. It looked out of the front of the property, and we had a little bit of a beach/ ocean view. The breakfast that’s included was made fresh every morning. The staff was very attentive. The pool was amazing. I would definitely stay here again. "

"The pictures on VRBO do not show the actual beauty of the place. Abs Juma was so gracious to retrieve me ahh no d my family from the airport and take us back on departure. He checked on us frequently to see if there was any additions to make our stay comfortable. Ayoub, house attendant assisted with laundry after our safari. Many eateries nearby. Short drive to stone town and the beach. Tours were easily arranged with driver that picked us up from the airport. We had an awesome time in Zanzibar....
