"Our group of 6 truly enjoyed our stay in Gilles' home in Saumur. The home was large enough to accommodate 6 adults, with spaces to congregate, and also enough space to be by yourself when you need it. The location was perfect, right off Place St-Pierre with its restaurants, cafes, and shops, and also with views of Saumur Castle. Gilles was easy to communicate with and always responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again."

"We stayed for two weeks and loved it here! We took two young children and our dogs and couldn’t have asked for a better home. The house is beautiful with everything you could need and the garden is great with plenty of space for games and dining. Great location with shops 2mins walking distance and 10min drive to angers. The host is lovely and cannot do enough for you. Highly recommend!"

"Petite maison agréable , mais à la propreté douteuse , nous avons trouvé le lave vaisselle et la vaisselle pas propres . Les matelas d'appoint stockés entre une armoire et le mur humides et moisis . La maison est données pour onze voyageurs ; nous étions 7 et n'aurions pas pu être 1 de plus , surtout autour de la table de la salle à manger . "

"C'est sans doute le plus beau gîte dans lequel nous avons séjourné. Vraiment magnifique. Les chambres sont spacieuses, l'espace de vie très agréable et la cour intérieure aussi (la plancha est top !). Hyper bien situé pour visiter la région angevine. Très bon accueil du propriétaire qui nous a conseillé des visites. La boulangerie et les restaurants du village sont exceptionnels ! Les bémols : l'insonorisation avec l'extérieur (penser aux bouchons d'oreille, les chambres donnent côté rue)...

Le propriétaire n'a pas donné de draps propres quand il est venu nous voir le lendemain de notre arrivée. Les fenêtres sont cassées/fêlées. Le site est magnifique mais l'hôte n'est pas à la hauteur, il ne correspond plus aux photos malheureusement."

"The cottage itself is well equipped with quality furnishings and equipment. Put together thoughtfully and stylishly by the charming owners. Unfortunately there is no green outdoor space as it's built on the gravel driveway entrance to the owners house, close to the local urban road and a main road. We went into the owners garden once to use their pool and were warmly welcomed. Overall this is a fabulous option for overnight stays or if you plan to be out driving every day. Perhaps less so if...

"This property exceeded all of our expectations! It was clean, extremely well-equipped for children, and spacious. The beds were firm and comfortable. Our host Claire was easy to communicate with and very helpful. The pool is heated and Claire takes great care of it. There is also a games room outside (archery, darts, ping pong) and toys and books for the children - when they get tired of visiting the friendly goats! Sofa bed when as a couch was faux leather and quite damaged.
