Check in process was great, we were greeted by the property manager at the time of check-in who took the time to show us the property.
We stayed there for 4 nights. The first two nights where fine. On the afternoon of third day, all A/C units went out and could not be repaired. This made for a miserable night. A handy man who was around basically kept us awake until 2:00am troubleshooting the issue without success. We had booked a ziplinning trip for the following morning at 8:00am, which certainly made for a rough start… A/C’s were repaired the following afternoon. At this time, the house was brutally hot… 🥵🥵
The following evening (our final night there), the property ran out of city water. No showers, toilets, etc… it was repaired late that evening, but it took until late that night for service to be re-established. Apparently, a bad float or something like that in the house’s booster system… 😕
I understand these things happen, but unfortunately for us, this changed the tone of the trip as we were tired and reluctant about what else will happen… 🤯🤯
For us in general, it will make us not consider airbnb’s in Mexico ever again, when hotel options are readily available at lower rates with all inclusive amenities (we paid nearly $600/night for this house).
