"Excellent all round. Lovely clean hotel and surrounding areas. Pristine accommodation with friendly and attentive staff. Lots of options for food and drink with an option to swap a half board for a fondue and an unbelievable breakfast option. Sensational spa too, which was an added bonus"

Well equipped apartment, with very attentive hosts - in fabulous location

"Ginzling - unlike some of the nearby towns - remains an authentic, likeable and calm village. It's a fabulous base for walking the zillertarel alps. We hired a car but didnt really need it as there are many walk from the door and a regular bus service between mayrhofen and the lake at the very end ..."

Mayrhofen is a very nice town with special appeal to skiers and hikers. For our trip the town was a staging area for hut-to-hut hikes and it served that purpose very well.
