"We stayed here during the heatwave that was crossing Europe. A little worried about this, in fact there was no need. The pool was perfect and no problem with it not being heated. The villa was wonderfully airy and you could get a great breeze running through it. We had a problem with a door at one point but our hosts got someone in to fix it immediately. You are 5 minutes from the local intermarche so getting provisions was dead easy. Was a wonderful holiday and would highly recommend"

"This villa is in a quiet corner of the village of Lavilledieu, yet is convenient for all the Ardeche has to offer. All the rooms are on one floor, and in particular include a large conservatory which opens fully into a small patio which is ideal for eating out. The hosts are very friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. In fact my son was lent a bike to explore part of the countryside at no cost! The pool is also very inviting."

"This villa is very well equipped. Comfortable beds. Spacious rooms.Not always possible to find an en suite on the ground floor for a 92 year old! Quiet location. Beautiful scenery. The only slight annoyance, no towels, so come prepared! Luckily our friends living nearby provided us with them! Would recommend this villa which has the bonus of a swimming pool, for the warmer weather, boules area and table tennis space. Thank you Jean Michael Michaud for providing a welcoming home!! "

"Au top piscine et pétanque maison exceptionnelle"

"This was ideal accommodation, on two floors, for a family holiday. There is AirCon but not to the two top bedrooms - so you need to bring a fan(s)! Swimming pool was lovely and the views from the balcony were spectacular. Although the gite is very well equipped, there was nothing to start us off when we arrived (only a small part of a toilet roll for instance) and so we had to go out to the local supermarket for "essential" household goods immediately eg toilet rolls, washing up liquid, rubbish...

"We could not have asked for more. The house was perfect. It was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. It didn't disappoint at all. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and answered any questions we had. The location was perfect for a relaxing break. So peaceful and yet only a short drive to amenities and places to visit. Would highly recommend and we hope to return one day soon."
