The bed was so comfortable which gave us restful nights sleep during our 6 day conference nearby in Katoomba. We enjoyed the other amenities but especially the hot tub and sauna. "The Carrington is walking distance from the train and close to everything in Kootomba. The hotel is historic, which means old and needs a bit of a facelift. Some of the staff was outstanding like Shelia, others were just ok. We enjoyed the adjoining restaurant with great food and live music. We even had walked around Scienic World. Overall a good stay 3 Star property that’s very well located. "

"An old house with large rooms and a garden, good to have a bath and traditional shower. No housekeeping but not needed for three nights and in fact easier not to have to bother. Interesting arrival with guided tour on the mobile phone, we did not see any staff during our stay. Nice bar and sitting room which is not working at present but good to sit with your own food and drink (glasses and plates provided)"

"This website didn’t communicate with the hotel there were 2 kids also. Just 2 adults. So the room allocated was only a king bed. Lucky the hotel had a spare room with extra space for us.
