"We stayed here for a week during the first week of July and had a wonderful time in this beautiful secluded chatel set in the mountains above Morzine. "A large and comfortable chalet that made a good base for four adults and two children. The three bathrooms and toilets were very useful. The chalet is very well equipped with everything we needed for the week. Lovely veranda with large garden table for dining outside and just sitting to admire the views. "Lovely homely chalet with absolutely amazing views. Very well equipped. Great walks nearby. Few things a bit dated but the chalet has a lovely warm feel to it. The host was very helpful, answering our queries quickly and clearly had fantastic knowledge of the local area. Please note the hot tub is wood fired so takes a long time to warm up, so you do need to be around all day to get it warmed up which for us wasn't practical as we spent our days out exploring, "

"We were a party of 10 (2 families). The Chalet suited us perfectly. 4 x double bedrooms and a "kids" room. Hot tub was excellent. Very convenient for the Barbossine Chair lift, though unfortunately in February 2024 there wasn't enough snow to be able to ski back down, so we had to get the bus from town. The first few days we tried to get Bus 2 form Super Chatel, but it was always rammed and we had to wait about an hour, then we worked out that if we got on a Linga we always got the first bus...

"Het huis was heel fijn, van alle gemakken voorzien. We waren met 14 personen en de keuken was hier goed in voorzien. Ook heel fijn dat iedere kamer een eigen badkamer heeft. Voor de bus naar Pre la Joux moet je een klein stukje omhoog lopen, is op een paar minuten loopafstand. Het centrum kun je lopend bereiken, ongeveer 20 minuten. We zouden het huis zeker aanraden!"

"Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Julien et nous avons adoré notre séjour dans ce chalet magnifiquement décoré tout en bois et pierre avec une superbe vue et à l ecart du monde ! Très bien situé, il est à quelques minutes du sommet où nous pouvions admirer le panorama à 360' et avec vue sur le Mont Blanc ! De retour le soir, nous avons apprécié les parties de billard au coin du feu de la cheminée qu on nous avait gentiment préparée. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir !"

"We had a pleasant two night stay at Auberge des Grands Bois. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It could have benefited from air conditioning but there was a Dyson Air Fan available and fortunately the weather was not too warm. The staff were friendly and breakfast was delivered to the room. The venue was very convenient both to Lausanne and Geneva and there was ample parking at the hotel. We had a meal at the restaurant which was very good but we were in the courtyard and it began...
