"Our overall stay was lovely. The ‘cottage’ was as described however the small ‘garden area’ was over run with vegetation/weeds and was unfortunately unkempt. The property manager was very nice and almost immediately advised I had left my iPad which she organised its return without delay! Fantastic!"

It is spacious and comfortable and well equipped for everything a family needs for time away. There were fresh eggs and cider to welcome us which was a lovely touch. "A true home from home this lovely quaint cottage offers. The owner has gone the extra mile to ensure your stay is comfortable and it has everything you would find in your own home. The bathroom is equipped with a fantastic shower. The garden has a quirky seating area, fantastic for those night's when you want to sit outside and enjoy a meal or drink. Location is excellent and just a short drive to Southport. We'll certainly come again."

WiFi is included in the price of the booking and not an additional expense - that is outdated on this site and almost prevented me booking. "We enjoyed our stay at Robin's Nest while visiting family in the area. The owners were quick to respond to an issue with the heating and were very helpful. The bungalow was warm and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen; the washing machine and tumble dryer were very useful. We found the double bed slightly on the small side."
