Ultimate All-Season Cabin w/ Private Swimming & Fishing Pond at Castle Rock Lake

The home features vaulted knotty pine ceilings in the great room with a wall of windows overlooking the pond, an open concept kitchen with large granite island and stainless steel appliances. The spacious master bedroom/bath with king bed and an additional bedroom with adjacent full bath with queen bed, completes the main level. Overlooking the great room is a loft with sleeper sofa, futon, and full sized bed. The walk-out lower level includes a full bath and 2 more bedrooms with queen beds along with bunk beds in both. The rec room has a flat screen high definition tv above the stone fireplace and opens to a patio leading to the pond. The home features a Sonos Wifi 6 zone sound system for your listening pleasure, allowing you seamless access to your personal music accounts through your phone or ipad along with SiriusXM channels, Spotify, Pandora, and any of your other listening favorites.

Relax with a cup of coffee on the deck with the morning sun overlooking the clean, sand-bottomed 1/3 acre private pond (complete with Otter Island swim raft) while the kids enjoy swimming and chasing frogs. Deer, turkeys, owls and other wildlife can often be spotted from the home which is surrounded by pine trees on a spacious 3 acres. Walk alongside the lake on the public trail and enjoy beautiful views of the lake from the tops of the shoreline bluffs. Wind down your day by the outdoor firepit while roasting marshmallows and being serenaded by crickets and frogs. We even supply the firewood!

The pond is stocked with bluegill, black crappies, and large-mouth bass, allowing for a great catch and release fishing experience for the kids.

Enjoy our private beach volleyball court and horseshoe pits!

A full library of movies and numerous games provides for rainy day fun. Stream your favorite apps on one of our 7 flat screen tv's with our Roku devices. Your short drive to The Dells opens a whole world of entertainment including a movie theater, casino, mini golf, go-karts, roller coasters and nearly any other adventure you can think of!

A county park is just minutes away to launch your boat or other water toys. There are reasonable dock rentals available 10 minutes from the home.

There are pontoon and jet ski rentals just a few short miles away. Several restaurants and lake bars with great food and nightly entertainment await you.

Plenty of activities surround the home in winter as well. Snowmobilers have instant access to the Juneau County snowmobile trails which are right across the street. If you are looking to ski or snowboard, Cascade Mountain is only 40 minutes away and Christmas Mountain a mere 25 minutes from the home. Trails along the lake make for great snowshoeing. Several sledding hills are nearby along with cross-country skiing and sleigh rides. After a long day of playing hard in the snow, relax with a cocktail by one of the 2 cozy indoor fireplaces.

Fantastic property!
This home was perfect for our family vacation. The house had so many things to keep both the kids and adults occupied both inside and outside. The kids absolutely loved the pond, catching frogs, fish, swimming, kayaking and using the paddle boards. Walking distance to a general store, with a cute ice cream cave for the kids. Quiet area with a short drive to several attractions. Home was clean and when we reached out to let Mark know about darts being broken upon our arrival, he had them shipped to us the next day. Amazing service and if we are ever in Wisconsin again we will definitely be back!

perfect family vacation!
this home was the perfect place for our family of 14 to stay. it had room for all of us and was conveniently close to Wisconsin Dells. There’s plenty to do at the home and everyone enjoyed the pond. Mark is a great owner and is extremely prompt in his responses. We highly recommend this property!

AMAZING!
I brought 13 high school seniors here for our senior trip, and everything about this place was perfect! The house was phenomenal and it had plenty of room for everyone. We had so much fun in the pond and playing sand volleyball. We had perfect evenings around the fire. We didn't have to go anywhere the entire time we were here because everything we needed was at the house and kept us occupied. I would definitely come back and will recommend to anyone!

A perfect Vacation
We had such a good time in the Dells, and a great time at our VRBO! There was room for all of us (14) including a table that could hold us all plus a high chair. The kids loved swimming in their own private pond that had all the inflatables and rowing options you could want, and they fished every night with lots of success. Everything we required was there in good shape! Loved it!

Mark reached out as soon as I booked the cabin for introduction and to give additional information on the property. He answered all questions quickly. The week of our weekend stay, Mark emailed again to give me check in information. He even allowed my group to check in early and stay an extra hour later on check out day (which was great considering it was end of daylight savings). The whole process was smooth. The property was beautiful and very clean.

This is our 3rd year staying here...and we keep coming back for a reason. LOVE all the space it provides. We have a group of 12 and the open concept amd large kitchen table are exactly what we seek out. 3 full baths are perfect. More than enough sleeping arrangements and the outside has so many things to offer, with the large pond and huge lot. Really appreciate having full access to the garage - which comes in super handy for loading and unloading.

Hidden Gem
We truly enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and spacious. It was a great getaway for our family to relax and spend some quality time together. Tons to do from yard games, to kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing. I would highly recommend this hidden gem.

Family Weekend Getaway
We had a great stay with all the amenities we could ever think of for a large family of 13. Plenty for the grandkids to do and play, as well as the adults. Even when it rained. we all settled in for a night of games and a movie. Truly enjoyed our stay at this cabin!

Kicthen was fully stocked tons of toys for the kids great layout. I think it needs a good "deep clean" corners, cielings, and cabinets had cobwebs. I would reccome d a guest book so future guests can review surrou ding attractions. And make sure no snakes in the house.

Perfect Family Getaway
This property lived up to and exceeded the description and reviews. Our whole family was there for a week, 9 adults and 7 kids under age 9. It was just absolutely perfect for us. The house itself is beautiful and was so clean. We ate in and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The pond provided hours and hours of fun for everyone and there are is such a great assortment of kayaks, paddle boards and floaties. The sand volleyball court was a hit as well. There is even a closet full of toys for the littles! Mark was a great host and responded promptly to any questions I had before the trip. There were no issues the week we were there but he checked in halfway through just to make sure everything was as it should be. We will be back for sure! I can’t recommend this property enough.

Perfect!
The Spacious Retreat was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 5 children ranging from 8 years down to 4 months. Plenty of room to spread out but also to come together for meals. We stayed in to eat -- the kitchen and dining area were awesome! And since we were there during a blazing hot week, the pond was a life saver. The older kids swam all day every day. Mark responded immediately to all questions. It was especially nice that all TP, paper towels, etc were supplied so we didn't have to pack it. The garage was full of water toys and life jackets, which made swimming all day possible and enjoyable. Our family will definitely be back next year!

As advertised. We are a family with 8 kids 12 on down and there was room to spare. The kitchen was very user friendly. The spare refrigerator was helpful as well. The water toys and even young toddler toys were great to have access to. Very quiet spot when we were there mid June. It was a nice place to stay. I have to add that the boys beat the girls at volleyball.

Almost like a resort!
The photos of this beautiful property tell it all. The pond was a perfect place for our kids and teenagers to spend time independently. The water and the lake bottom were clean, and the floating dock and "lily pad" as well as the plastic kayaks were a big hit. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Even with 11 of us staying there, we had plenty of cookware and dishes. Laundry facilities were great. We will tell our friends about this great place and will return ourselves.

Beautiful property
The house and property around it were very nice and private. There were a few glitches like a toilet leak, which did not hinder our stay, but other than that we really enjoyed our time at Spacious Retreat!! We played sand volleyball and swam in the lake and took walks. I would recommend staying here. Mark is easy to get ahold of and friendly.

We had a great stay! The space worked really well for the 13 of us and the music system, grill, pond and kitchen exceeded our expectations. Our favorite part was playing all day on the volleyball court! The net height is about 7 feet 7 inches for anyone curious. 10/10 would book again!
