"Beautiful house with lots of character. Very close to the town's shopping centre and lots of interesting places to visit , all in close proximity.Beds were comfortable. Although temperatures were cold at night, the heat pumps provided plenty of warmth.Lovely gardens in a quiet setting."

"Host was very friendly, we ate the meal (lamb & wallaby) - both were good Pleased we did order because on a Monday evening there were no other dining options in Bothwell. We arrived late because of flights into Hobart so missed 1st course, so suggestion would be to arrive by 7pm if you ordered the dinner Little cottages are cute and comfy."

"My family and I stayed at this beautiful luxurious home for our holiday. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, the layout of the home was very suited for my elderly parents located in a beautiful peaceful street with a beautiful view. The pantry was full of various herbs and spices, the coffee machine was easy to use, which catered for our coffee kicks for the day. Most of all, Mark and Miriam are amazing hosts with their prompt responses. The art on the wall is absolutely mesmerising, we had everything we needed and more to feel we were home away from home. "This was a great place that easily accommodated our group of three families. It was on a beautiful property with a great walking path, the kids loved watching the geese in the water, and exploring the riverside. The kitchen and dining areas were a good setup to cook for our whole group of 14 people, with plenty of refrigerator space for groceries. We were close to town but still out far enough to have plenty of space. Our host was very communicative and checkin and checkout were super easy. It was great to open the windows and let the breezes come through, wish we could’ve stayed longer!A couple of notes- one of the smaller bedrooms has a large opening above the door so doesn’t totally seal off from the hallway, and bring all pantry items beyond coffee, sugar, salt and pepper.It’s a lovely house!"
