"I never leave negative reviews. I will make an exception. We were really disappointed in this place. No one works at this motel. When you arrive, you call a phone number and if someone answers the call, they give you a four digit code to unlock the door. Our code did not work. It took the guy who answers the phone 30 minutes to override the system. He lives 90 minutes away. We were nervous to leave for dinner for fear of not getting back in the room. "Stepping into this cabin, you can tell the host has thoughtfully and carefully worked through each detail to capture the history and beauty of the area. The cabin was so peaceful, with sounds of rain and the river nearby, beautiful lookout windows, and the comfiest bed. Woodstove kept us toasty warm (after a couple of failed attempts to start a fire), and the bathroom located just outside the cabin was the perfect refreshment needed.Kitchen is stocked with everything needed! Delicious waffles...
