"Very neat and clean. The room had everything we needed from tea/coffee to towels and even make-up remover. The bed was a little uncomfortable but that is due to my preferences of a firm mattress and pillow. All in all is was a great experience. "

"The cottage had a very well equipped kitchen and was very comfortable. It was very peaceful and had 3 outside options where you could sit. We had a very enjoyable stay."

"A typical Kiwi bach perfect for a relaxing holiday. It really is a retro bach! We appreciated being able to bring Harley, a milk in the fridge and a bag of sweets on arrival. Owners staying in the front property but utterly discreet. All communications warm, helpful and friendly! Thank you! Will be back if we can."

"The apartment was a bit smaller than it looked in the photos, however it was very clean and within walking distance of the town centre which was great. Additionally, having an off road parking space was really useful. The downside was the noisy neighbours, particularly the upstairs neighbours who were loud throughout the night making it difficult to get a good nights sleep."

"Really enjoyed our stay. Location was excellent. Bach was clean and well provisioned. We had two dogs and the proximity to the lake and a park at the rear of the property was fantastic. Will be back again."

"We had a great time in Taupo and found the property well located to get around Taupo's attractions. The property was clean, tidy and welcoming. A great place to relax. We enjoyed our stay."

"This little house ticked all the boxes for us un terms of affordability, comfort and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The spa pool was a hit! "Have holidayed in Hatepe for forty years so have rented many properties. Enjoyed the lake side position, the open fire and comfortable furnishings. There was only one extra blanket for the beds for my grandchildren who had come to NZ from 30 + degrees . Thanks owners for letting your property. I nursed with Di North in PN Hospital many years ago when we trained and Dr North was Med Superintendent? ( or have wrong family)??"

"Exceptionally clean and well provisioned. Had one small issue with the pilot light on the gas fire but Property Manager was very prompt at attending and fixing the issue. Would recommend this property for a quiet break-away."
