The exclusive accommodation includes a large main Sitting Room with vaulted ceiling. The spacious house is able to sleep 8 people without guests feeling cramped and there are 2 bedrooms on the Ground Floor with 1 Ensuite. A further 2 bedrooms on the First Floor with 1 Bathroom and 1 Ensuites. All bathrooms have separate shower cubicles. The courtyard has been developed into an Events / Games Room, with Table Tennis, Table Football and large cinema screen with PlayStation, or you could hold a gathering for friends and family.
The house is in a peaceful location with views over the Ayrshire countryside and the abundance of wildlife and birdlife can be enjoyed from the doorstep, there is a wood fired pizza oven in the enclosed garden and wonderful woodland walks and cycling direct from the door.
With a vast array of outdoor activities nearby, the Farmhouse provides a fantastic launchpad to explore the beauty of Ayrshire, the local islands and the south west coast of Scotland. Enjoy walking along the 44 mile River Ayr Way right on the doorstep or the Ayrshire Coastal 100 mile long footpath nearby. The local area also boasts Scotland’s only ‘road cycling park’, a 15 mile network known as the Ayrshire Alps. Within easy reach are the world-famous golf courses of Royal Troon, Prestwick and Trump Turnberry, and the seaside town of Ayr offers a range of restaurants, cafés, shops as well as hosting horse racing events throughout the year at the Ayr Racecourse.
Other local places worth a visit are Culzean Castle, Heads of Ayr Farm Park, the Dark Sky Observatory, Footgolf at Roodlea, the Boswell Coachhouse Tree and Hobbit House as well as the heated open-air pool in Cumnock. Dumfries House, which has been made famous by Chippendale furniture and links to Prince Charles, has beautiful gardens and an adventure playground to explore and is only 5 miles away.
