Outside, Fern House boasts driveway parking for up to two cars, ensuring easy access. The back garden is a private haven with a lawn, patio area, and a hot tub, providing a wonderful space to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Tansley itself offers plenty to do, with two excellent local pubs within walking distance, where you can enjoy a meal or a drink in a welcoming atmosphere. For those who love the outdoors, the nearby Lumsdale Falls offers scenic walks, with the beauty of cascading waterfalls providing a perfect backdrop. There are also numerous other walking routes in the area, allowing you to explore the stunning Derbyshire countryside at your leisure. The charming local towns of Matlock and Bakewell are just a short drive away, each offering their own unique character and attractions. Chatsworth House, one of the most famous stately homes in England, is also nearby, with its stunning gardens, art collections, and impressive architecture.
For families with young children, Gulliver’s Kingdom in Matlock Bath is a popular destination, offering a fun-filled day of rides and attractions, with Alton Towers only being 45 minutes drive too.
