"Had a really great stay at the Stanley hotel. The room we stayed in was quite big for 3 people, the room was clean and the bathroom was a good size. Came with good amenities - fridge, kettle, coffee/tea, tv, wifi, safe etc. Had room service at all hours which was a good amenity. But the star of the show and what makes this hotel amazing was the rooftop floor. A beautiful basically 360 degree view of Athens with the acropolis in sight, which is beautiful at night. The restaurant/bar has amazing food and drinks, and the pool area had lots of sun beds. Food and drinks can be served to the pool which is also good. At times it got very busy but there generally wasn’t the morning rush for a sunbed and we were always able to find one. The breakfast was pretty standard for a breakfast buffet but had a decent selection. The only downside was the location of the hotel as the area doesn’t seem to be the nicest, and would probably not want to go out at night, though the hotel is a minute or two walk from the metro station which takes about 5 mins to get into Syntagma, Plaka and Acropoli. Overall we would recommend staying at the Stanley."

"Such a beautiful resort. We wished we had longer than 3 nights! Georgia, Peggy and Evi(reception) were so hospitable and warm! Great buffet breakfast and dinner with lots of options. My only negative is the pricing of drinks. Avg of $15 euro per cocktail is very $$$ even by Australian standards. Do what we did and buy your own drinks to enjoy on your balcony or by the pool. Great place to relax away from the business of central Athens - 25 mins to the airport and 50 mins to Acropolis by taxi. "

"The Electra is a lovely hotel and it is easy location to cafes and sights. The pool is wonderful and so nice to have on hot days of summer after a busy stomp exploring sights. I highly recommend this hotel... It is pricey, but the breakfast, location, and staff are exceptional and worth the extra cost!"

"The experience was amazing. We ate on site by pool and a on-site resto just down the path from the pool. There is also a restaurant just outside called taverne Artemis that was phenomenal !! My only issue was the hotel arranged cabs to go to the hotel and we waited an hour and ended up calling it ourselves "

"The Grand Hyatt Athens exceeded our expectations. Cool rooms, beautiful pool and bar and great staff (Eleni and the rest of the pool bar were so helpful and kind) and luxurious without overcharging. Highly recommend!"
