We woke up everyday to the sound of tropical birds and we only had to sit back on the porch to see all kinds of hummingbirds, tanagers, toucans and more. We also saw an agouti crossing the yard! The house itself is beautifully done and was a good base for us to visit nearby beaches, waterfalls and take a snorkeling trip to Caño island. "

"Everything about our two night stay was wonderful. The hotel is literally steps to the ocean waves, and it’s so nice to just walk out, jump in and within seconds you can be back to the room. The beach is quite popular with tourists and locals, with various options to get food or drinks. We felt safe 100% of the time. The room itself is basic, but comfortable and clean. It’s not the most luxurious hotel in the world, but it fully meets or exceeds the western standard, which is not always common...

The owner is very courteous and helpful, he provided lots of valuable tips during our stay.
