"My wife and I stayed at the Dwor Kaliszki hotel (standard double room) for one night in July 2024. We just wanted a place to stay for one night on our way to Warsaw from Kaunas (Lithuania). Boy, we were so happy we picked this lovely hotel. "Hotel is on outskirts of town and is mainly a resort with cabins and basketball courts and a small sandy beach on lakeside. Area is beautiful but for a "business" traveler this hotel doesn't offer. WiFi poor. Room small and there was two single beds in my room which were fold up beds that were so low to ground its difficult to get up from. "A nice hotel situated by the river bank. Parking is ample but arrangement and instruction from the staff is confusing. The hotel is like a maze and difficult to navigate initially. Got insurance, the entrance from the car park is on ground level but the reception is one level down. Bedrooms are in a different wing and two levels above the reception. The lift is narrow and small and half a level up from the reception. Beautifully decorated dining room and the bedroom we had was decorated with mahogany bed panels, chest, wardrobes and bureau. Sanitary suite is modern, only shower available. It is a good base to visit nearby lakes or just to enjoy the local village."
