It was beautiful and well kept, perfect little gem with a big property, covered semi heated pool and all the things you need in the kitchen. Be prepared for the 15 min drive up small mountain roads from Alassio, lots of blind corners and hair-pin bends which mean you don’t pop out for milk etc easily. The house was big enough to have intimacy amongst friends and couples staying with us, warm enough to bring us all together to raise a glass, knife, and fork. "This is a very cool house but the photos and the reality are not one and the same. I was shocked at how rustic the kitchen was. The only pic of the kitchen is the fabulous gas range, but there is a reason they don't show you the rest. "My wife and I stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the stay and property. Jessica was responsive and very helpful. It is way up the hill, so be prepared to drive to the beach. Would be even better with 2 couples where you could enjoy some meals together on the patio, overlooking the sea. The views of the sea from the house and patio are really incredible. There is air conditioning in both of the bedrooms, which are upstairs, but we also had a lovely cooling breeze through the house - even at the start of July. "We enjoyed our stay in Ellera, it was a picture perfect location in a small village, just what we wanted to experience. Wonderful restaurant about 3 minutes from villa. The property was as advertised, large, comfortable and clean. Francesca was very helpful in every way and was available if we needed to speak to her. Another highlite of our trip."

Fantastic stay!

"We had a wonderful stay at Mare Hotel in Savona and would highly recommend it. From the moment I arrived, the reception team was incredibly kind and welcoming, setting the tone for a great visit. The hotel offers three restaurants, and the one I dined at was absolutely lovely. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere added to the experience. My room was exceptionally spacious, with a large bathroom, plenty of fresh linen and towels, and top-quality toiletries. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like a great selection of coffee and tea, as well as a well-stocked fridge. The balcony was a perfect spot to relax and watch the world go by. One of the highlights of Mare Hotel is its direct access to the beach, making it incredibly convenient for a seaside escape. The town center is just a 20-minute walk away, easily reachable via the road or a scenic stroll along the beach. As a female traveler, I felt completely safe throughout my stay. The hotel’s environment is secure and welcoming. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Savona."
