"Its a quiet rural area. Peaceful and relaxing. The little hamlet is walkable. Restaurants, groceries and attractions near by. We loved this so much we booked it 3 separate times on this holiday. "This place was lovely, right on the slopes of mount Etna. Guiseppe and Louisa were fantastic hosts and were very friendly and helpful. Good set up of our apartment with separate living space to bedroom with lots of room. Only downside was small shower and no AC. On the day we were leaving they were quite happy for us to take our time as room was free for that day so woke up late and after sorting ourselves out we took a tour of the winery. Guiseppe is a 6th gen wine maker who is making wine organically and the way he has updated making process while maintaining the history and heritage was fantastic, well worth it. We liked the fact that a restaurant is on site and their pizzas are great. We were lucky to be there on Guiseppe’s birthday, he had a pool party with food and wine and we were invited to join and enjoyed the evening especially as Etna was erupting in the distance and was a sight to behold, not to mention the wine was fantastic. We will definitely stay again "
