I arrived late, and during the Covid pandemic, and the receptionist offered me a reasonably priced evening meal in my room, which was delicious. The room itself was comfortable and pleasant, with an excellent view of the tower across the street. A very pleasant experience over-all. "The house and garden are beautiful and well equipped. Our only slight concern was that the fridge was not very cold. The whole place was so comfortable and homely, with a beautiful spot for dining out under the trees. The village is very sleepy but has a very good bakery! We all loved our week there.
