"a place to dream of - renovated with much effort and love and with lots of pieces to discover in- and outside the building. In its current state the Chateau is about 3/4 of its former size as one of the former owners lost his luck and simply sold his part brick wise. The attached park is the most beautiful retirement for elderly horses you can imagine. Helicopter or Oldtimer Jaguars await those who would like to take a ride. "This apartment was well situated to easily walk through Chablis. It was very clean and had good amenities. No breakfast is served; but we picked up berries, yogurt the night before, and walked to get baguette/pastries in the morning, as the French do! This was a very quiet place to stay, despite being on a main road in town. This is definitely a place to stay! "

"Nous avons séjourné 2 jours et tout c’est très bien passé . Je n’avais pas bien intégré que le logement était en fait le premier étage de la maison du propriétaire. Mais cette partie est indépendante et bien aménagée. La propriétaire est très attentive, discrète et nous avons pu profiter de la totalité du jardin pendant ce séjour ensoleillé"

"We wanted for nothing in this property, everything was provided. It was in a huge, secluded garden, but the property was separate, and a long way from the main house, so we didn't feel enclosed in any way. We sat/ate outside a lot of the time, and felt that we were a long way from the main house. Samur-en-Auxois was everything we thought it was, and François Meunieur was extremely helpful. 10/10!"
