"The gite was very clean and comfortable, and everything was provided that we needed. The owner, Fabien, was very helpful, before and during the holiday, offering suggestions of places to visit and telling us about the history of the region.Great hospitality was shown to us. We appreciated our visits to both local and regional venues such as Nimes,Uzes, and the Cevennes National Park, and the pool was a great asset to us on very hot afternoons. "The cabin is situated in the grounds of the manor house that once belonged to the author Laurence Durell. The hostess is amazing and cannot do enough to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Walk out of the secure grounds and you are in the old town of Sommieres, with its numerous restaurants and bars . This place could not score higher if you want a base to explore the area."

Von der Terrasse hat man einen tollen Blick über das Tal und auf Lussan. Der Pool ist so einladend, dass meine Frau trotz der ungewöhnlich kalten Außentemperaturen Anfang November gebadet hat. In der Umgebung kann man viel unternehmen z.B. wandern direkt vom Haus oder klettern (15 Autominuten bei Seynes)... Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt bei unseren...

"The cottage has 2 bedrooms and large lounge, diner with a cosy wood burnt fireplace, 2 shower rooms. The owners live above but the walls are thick so there’s no noise to disturb each other.
